Then, what are we going to do. Sit and wait for a miracle to happen? Bear the pain of this dysfunctional system? Are we not bored with this? The people can make a difference as long as we are united.

for me federalism will split up the country. ka remember ba mo when Cebu threaten to break away from the Philippines? how about yung Sabah? if we allow FEDERAL DEMOCRACY what will stop them from breaking out from Philippines. im not saying this is would happen but it is probable to happen.

there a lot of things also that needs to be address.
What's it to you or me if they want to break out from the philippines? Isn't that their right if they really want to? I remember in Canada, there was a movement French Quebec to break away and form their own country, their government respected that and put it to a vote. That's real democracy. nationalism is stupid. Philippines was never one country, and doesn't have to be forever. I don't want to be like Serbia forcing all the other regions to stay united. If they don't want to be part of Philippines theres a good reason, why do we force people to stay if they don't want it? That's like forcing estranged couples to stay married by outlawing divorce, oh wait we pinoys do that too!!! I guess it's in our character to force others to do what we want. hahaha

if the tagalogs dont want regions to break away from the philippines they should have made it into a country thats worth being part of. nobody wants to leave the winning team, but everyone runs away from the losing one...

what we should have done is elect someone who supports federalism but since we didnt do that, then yes we should just sit and wait for a miracle to happen because whether you believe it or not, that's all you can do.

Is chaos all over the Philippines? It's only in Manila and some parts of Mindanao. Cebu is very peaceful in general sense. Wahahahahahaha!!!

Maybe you don't drive here that's why you say that. Nobody really implements the law in Cebu either, have you ever tried complaining at a police station? They are just watching TV and sit on their asses all day. It's only peaceful here because most people don't commit crime, that doesn't mean its not lawless and chaotic because it is hahaha. anyway i was just joking of course we're not really lawless, but we almost are i think...

civil war is what happens when one group of people wants to force their way on another. if they just let mindanao go, that would end the war right away and there will be more peace. how will it affect your family, life or business, is your family spread out all over the country or something??

and don't we already have civil war, terrorism and taliban-style government now? whats the difference... i wouldnt mind if manila let go of cebu too and leave us alone.

That's all I can do. If I am alone, yes. But if people cry for it. Then we can do that. The government is of the people, by the people and for the people. The people are the sovereign. Guess, you know that. Let us not lose hope.
