That's not true, there will still be a federal (national law). State law is subordinate to federal law in all instances anyway. And it's not necessarily a problem, sometimes state laws need to be different because different regions sometimes have different needs.

Then what? All we need is countryside development. Unlike today that only the capital is too developed.

Because of the unlimited greed of tagalogs but it seems they can't solve the traffic jam there...

Then, what are going to do with the people/culture problem? Suggestions please on how to solve this.
Japanese are advocate of countryside development.

That is why we need to do have a federal government so that countryside development will happen. Some probinsyanos in Manila will go back to their homelands. And Manila's population will reduce to a significant number.

Increase spending on education? It's just that a lot of people here lack education, and even those that do, have substandard education. Things like teaching kids that posing in front of a recent bus massacre is bad manners. Or that one should take responsibility for one's failures instead of constantly blaming other people. You know simple things like that which characterize us but needs to change...

But i'm not against federalism, all i'm saying is it will never happen and that there are other more important things to cover. if we had a government that can do many things at once, this might be possible. but they can't even do one thing at a time properly.

i still believe.. what we need an electoral reform and economic reform without changing our government system. Each region or group of regions elect a senator that will represent their constituent. and reform our economy.. money earn on each region/regions stay on that region and some to the national government. though im not a lawyer im not sure how can it be done lol.

If you are saying the money earned in each region stays there that can't be done in the present system, because the constitution requires all funds to be given to the central government which then decides how to apportion the funds among the regions. money earned staying in regions is a federal concept. I know this because I lived in australia, they have a federal system, and most of the taxes stay within the state and the only money that goes to the central government is for military purposes and to fund the prime minister's office.

Unity just for unity sake i don't agree with. what for? maybe we aren't really meant to be united, we dont even speak the same language and the religion/culture in different places totally different from that of manila. maybe the philippines is not meant to be a single country, i think historically it never was and was only forced onto us by the spaniards...
