i belong to other forums that discuss other topics, and we never say, "oh sorry but this is a geneva based forum..blah blah.." in fact i am much welcomed being one of asian origin expressing my opinion.

yeah..peace. suroy nya sa dumaguete bro.. october is buglasan festival.

mao lagi sir, kay most istoryans man gud is from cebu, and automatically, if someone makes a post, they assume that the TS is also from cebu... akong 1st basa sa imong orig post, akong reaction "naunsa naman ning tawhana?" kay i assumed nga taga cebu ka.

i can only imagine if istorya.net was based on dumaguete, and most users are from dumaguete, then your post would have received more support than negative reactions. sakto ba?

OT: lami unta musuroy dumaguete da, but october is going to be a hectic time for me. thx sir and ride safe.

hehe paspasa sa reply diri nga thread oi. nagkapareho among reply ni umpa-lumpa ^_^

If you wanted a discussion in the first place, you should have put a neutral thread title, because you don't know what's the other forumers' stand on this, you just can't barge in and shout "boycott!", right? Of course, kontrahon jd na, who would want to symphatize with someone who is against a law for safety, and one more thing, try to post more on your opening statement and explain thoroughly why you boycott it, and from your opening posts, I don't think those were reasons enough to boycott this law. 4500 is reasonable enough to draw a thick line between life and death.

Still, wala man gihapon kay dag.anan ani, kay the sole purpose of this law is not only for your safety but also for others. Like sa isa na nagpost dri, your freedom to choose/freewill ends when you violate others' right to live (or safety), ie. You can always choose to fire a gun, wala man nagpugong nimo na ayaw, you can even fire it to yourself, there's no problem with that. But it can also kill others that's why there is a law for that. You can always choose not to wear a helmet, pwede nimo ibangga imo motor sa pader, you can always do that, but if mamatay ka what happens to your family? That's why there is a law for that, the Helmet Law, to draw a thick line between life and death.
i stand my ground sir. this law is unjust. that is perfectly clear. people freely choose to wear helmets already even without a law, without a penalty.

may dag-anan or wala, i do not think it is you who can judge that. when the katipuneros decided to tear up their cedulas, they were told the same thing...walay dag-anan.

some fights just got to be fought sir...thats the way it is.

there is no such thing as neutral in this sentiment. one has to take sides. unfortunately, we are not on the same side. in that case, we will just agree to disagree. down the road, history will look back.. these will all just be a blur....peace.

Please enlighten me kind sir? Or are these tears just blurring my view on your post? I don't understand what the TS has to be ashamed of?

Which is more shameful: making a firm stand on what you truly believe despite of others' putting you down or being ecstatically high about yourself only by putting others down?

Let us evolve, please. Obviously this thread has its share of views both sensible and not so sensible ones. I suggest this thread be closed as it has become the breeding ground for immature and malevolent expressions of senseless ramblings thus becoming unhealthy.
