by the way, i don't have dedicated hdtv here but my relative(father's side) has of which i was requested to be the chooser when they bought 46incher 1080p (due to they know nothing about technicalities). after we arrived in the house with the hdtv, i hurriedly presented to them the differences of a high-end huge crt tv, hd video played in a lcd with subpar video card, and the hdtv lcd with a br video played in ps3.

i can mimic though an hdtv with my lcd here coupled with high definition standalone tv-tuner box with pip, its same mister. my neighbors here have hdtv of which are very noisy(talking about loud sounds in row houses in a very urbanized place, once was a squatter area). murag fiesta diri sa amo basta magpasalida na among mga silingan sa ilang mga higanteng hdtv lcds, uyog intawn hasta akong katre nga kahoy sir. ang mga estambay diri sa amo hdtv ginatan-aw.. ako lang na gi share kay basin nag hunahuna ka ron nga ignorante ko og hdtv, LOL! ^^


so whats your take about your hdtv? is it so magical as like with series 7 of samsung's with 3D? ^^ care to explain further...

by the way, interlace signal will always have a purpose why it is invented. few is ako na nahisgot sa previous thread pero murag nalibat ka.


wala bya gi degrade nako pagka explained, i was just explaining technically what really they are. and thats the reason why electronics producing 1080p are more expensive than ones producing 1080i. i never mentioned pod nga nagtinanga ang mga videographers using the dslr still camera for video capturing, ikaw ray ga ingon ana, LOL!^^


lastly, base on your lines, murag kinahanglan ka mo balik og basa sir... ^^ hahahaha!^^


reminder lang, again, 720p of nikon d90 and 1080i of canon 550d ^^ basin mobalik napod ka sa imong hdtv nga mo support og full hd (1080p) rather than a hd ready alone that may not able to show full resolution. kahibalo intawn ko sa imong pasabot sir..

mind you sir, 550d is a very great dslr on its level. wala intawn ko mag defend sa nikon d90 pwera gaba ^^ 550d can even par the ISO performance of nikon's d5000. sa tanaw lang cguro nimo murag nag defend ko sa d90 since what i was explaining technically were the 720p and 1080i videos from d90 and 550d but its not. notice even the title of which there is NO versus in between the two subjects.

while Nikon D90 can only do

If you're seriously considering to use dSLRs for video then the file format is not an issue really. I can find so many applications in the internet that can let me convert the MOV format into something "native" for well known video editing applications like sony vegas for example.

So in terms of video, and ONLY IN VIDEO, it's obvious who the winner is - CANON EOS 550D!
