going to SIARGO? CLOUD 9 SURFING CUP

there will be an international surfing competition to be held on sept 24th till sept 30
and we're planning to go there!

any information about going there? any recommendations in accommodation nearest to the competition? airfare waS KInda expensive so i need some help

i got tickets from airphil.com, cebu to surigao..

now, these are my questions
1. from surigao airport, meron bang sasakyan dun going surigao port (going dapa)
2. from surigao airport to post, how many minutes ang byahe?
3. from surigao port how many minutes going dapa port at siargao?
4. and from dapa port how may minute going to genral luna?

answer:
1. yes meron, you can ride a tricycle or pedicab or multicab going to the city..10-20 php ang fare..
2. it ony takes 10-15 minutes from the airport going to the port..
3. if you ride RORO ir'll take 4hrs to get to DAPa from Surigao City, but if you'll take the LANTSA or PUMPBOAT at the boulevard just near the port, it'll only take 2hrs to get to Dapa..
4. from dapa port 10-20minutes going to General Luna...

not pedicab but a habal2x or a motorcycle. A jeepney is also available [for around 25php] but you really have to wait for it to be filled w/ passengers. Jeepney costs less but the hassle of waiting must be considered. If you opt for the motorcycle it might be pricey since most drivers charge tourists double or triple[even higher] the regular fare.


i can not specifically name a resort since i stayed w/ my friend back then but there are a lot of resorts within the area that will suit your preference. And better book ahead.
