another Question: In your own little way,how could you help in promoting the rottweiler breed to the general public as opposed to the "public's view" of the breed as "aggressive & or vicious"?

for me,which i've tried already,training & socialization at the same time getting a dog from an ethical breeder,helps a lot in overcoming the negative perception of the public,not just towards rottweilers but also pitbulls & other BSL listed breed/s.ive trained some of my dogs in obedience & therapy work & was allowed to visit special kids' school & public schools as well both here,in cebu & davao.which for me is a great step in creating a dog friendly atmosphere

A question to all rott enthusiasts: When & how is your 1st introduction to the Rottweiler breed?

ako atong Oct. 21, 2007 kay nanan-aw man mi ug dogshow ngadto sa Sacred Heart, didto nako unang nakita si Tano. Choy kaayo, nya nindot iyang built. Sauna di gyud ko ganahan ug rott kay maldito lagi daw nya kadaghanan sa akong nakita mura man ug kanding nga black and tan.. LOL Ang nag-handle ni Tano ato nga time kay si Rod, nya iya ko gipa-ila2x sa owner ni Tano, si Kevin.. Didto mi nagka-amigo ni kevin, after 1 week ni-visit mi sa ilang kevin kay ganahan mi mupalit ug anak ni tano. Pag-adto namo ila kevin nagtou ko nga mumaldito si Tano kay iya na gud nga territoryo pero wa man, boutan gihapon gipagawas ni kevin sa cage si Tano, nagsimhot2x lang then nakig-duwa gihatag ni kevin sa ako ang toy ni Tano kay gusto man makigduwa ug fetch si Tano.. hehehe! Ug didto nisamot ko ug ka-ganahan sa rottweiler..

for me aggressiveness drive mani para nakow! aggressive to obey command "protection aggressiveness" gus2 ni nakow nga drive sa rott the drive to defend...
