When interviewers tell you that you have a regional accent, what that mean is kung sa bisaya pa: Maklaro na bisaya imo accent. Not to offend you ok, but this is the reality. This term was coined so as not to offend the applicant. Some call centers are strict in matters of communication. Some centers though, make do with accented speakers, so long as it is something workable and that the applicant doesnt have much trouble conveying his/her ideas. Anyway, try to do these more, watch english movies and mimic the characters, converse with people in english(proper english at that). Try to work the Th sound like The, There, Them, not as Da, Der, Dem. The E as in Here, Clear not as Her and Cler. The A as Aeppl(Apple), Maen (Man), not as Ahpol or Mahn. That is if you really want to work in a call center. Hope this helps.
