so kung naay problema sa PSU adto lang ko sa ilang shop? unsay address sa ilang shop, fone number? pila ka years ang warranty? mo replace gyud cila dayon if ma prove nila nga naa jud daot?

coz, naa man gud koy daan na Silverstone ST50F- pag Comdapp 2008 nako napalit- i even shaked the hands of Ryan when i purchsed it.

ang problem sakong old ST50F kai, dili xa mo-power on dayon kung i press nako ang "ON" button sa PC. mo siga ra ang yellow green nga LED, pero dili gyud xa mo start up or mo boot up...

coverd pa kaha ni akong old ST50F PSU sa Warranty?

some batch of ST50F kai gi recall man sa una pa becoz of this low-voltage problem. try lang FU unsa ila mahimo about that now. i dont know if there are still reports of this kind of problem on the other models like ST50F-230 and the new ST50F-ES.

Dad-a lang na imong PSU diri sa office sir kay amo na ilisan ug bag-o, same model gihapon but newer version na (3.0). Yes, naa jud batch problem ang old version (1.0) sa ST50F, gi confirm na sa OEM(FSP) & SilverStone. most sa affected dealers are PCExpress & Wired Systems kay didto man sa ila napunta ang mga defective. The ES is made by another OEM na.

i'm using ST50F-230 Modular, with Quad Core 50% OC CPU & 9800GTX+ OC Edition GPU (to think power hungry GPU jud ni) so far wala man problem ako PSU.

its used for business bro. i have 8 st50f's, 6 st50f-es, 1 st40f, 3 coolermasters, 2 antecs, 1 acbell, 1 thermaltake. so far ang st50f ra ang ni fail.

if its not a well know problem for a specific brand,model,series or version number something, else might have caused it to fail.but then thats the purpose of having warranties anyways...

its the same the problem with my problematic st50fs and its a known issue for that model. only 1 of them was a different case (blackout)

that's why im worried coz it happened even with version 3. i hope it will not re occur with the other version 3

@erwin_rommel: duda lang ko nimo kay daghan man kaayo ang nifail sa imo mga SST PSUs oi muraa man generic ^___^ basin naa lain hinungdan mao nifail na sila basin overloaded na kaayo diay imong system na gigamit tapos wala na nakaya sa 500w PSU nimo.

we try an i7 860 @ 3.6 GHz + HD 5870 wala man gani problem na perti nana kadako sa wattage almost peak power nana sa ST50F-230 ok raman gani siya.
