the school is not an office, also we are the boss in this so called university because we are the customers and customer is always right.
-im sorry bro but i have to disagree on this. Yes i know that we are the customers but dli mu apply ang "customer is always right" na principle. The school is not a restaurant nor a hotel. A school's aim is to produce graduates they can be proud of, and in doing that they need to implement certain rules. Dont get me wrong kasabot ra pud mi ninyo kay ni agi man pud mi pagka student. .hehe

Ang amu lang is i-weigh lang ba if worth ba na mag rally2x mo tungod lang sa uniform. Luoy pud ang mga ginikanan nato bya.
Just follow the rules nalang sir kay student pa man ka, if dli ka ka uyon , there's an option to quit USC.
Kana you can have all the freedom.

I think wala cya ka graduate. Murag nawad-an cguro ug gana kay na uwahi man sa batch. .

look in the sidewalks everytime you go to school. how many out of school youth wandering around hoping to have your place, and study to a prestigious schools. they are willing to follow the policy. but your are there, provided by your parents with complete uniforms, with parents paying for overpriced projects, and maybe 3 times the amount of the sling should there be the need to really buy one. you are accusing USC of being a business center, and maybe if your like my USC friend, complains against the high price of carenderias around, pirmi daw siya magutman, but when you see his facebook page, its gimmick here and there, inom here and there, and mind you, can even pay for a pack of cigarrette from time to time.

as a parent i would rather pay the sling, the uniform, the haircut, than pay for your san miguel, your cigarette and your rally. as an HR, i dont think i will be able to see USC TC future graduates applicants ever the same again.
    very well said

Actually, kita man tanan naa ma'y reklamo. I stressed that out in the older posts. Maski mag work ta puhon, we still have complaints on small stuff and policies. You can also check my older post nga nireaklamo sad ko sa mga policies.

But, according to one post here, is it worth fighting for? Angay ba mag saba-saba sa gawas sa skwelahan tungod ana?

@rebbieboi: In your older posts, you mentioned that this is a democratic country. And I also have to irrelevantly correct you on a few things, when you mentioned we have the right to protest because we are a democratic country and not a communist country. You don't mean communist, you mean fascist, because communism IS BUILT ON PROTESTS AND REVOLUTIONS by the working class. And also, dili DepEd nag control sa Higher Education sa Pilipinas kundi ang CHED. Nothing, just giving a few corrections.

Well, we tend to forget that the government has no direct control over USC. It is a private institution. Maski schools like UC or SWU, dili bounded that much sa constitution.

Take for example, UP. Di ba gobyerno na siya? Kabantay mo daghan kaayo mga mag rally? Because the school encourages it. Now, natarug bana ang UP? Wala man. Sad, sad, sad. All those protesters just wasted their time.

If mag organize man gani ug protests, how about tackling stuff like the enrollment system (which the school IS AWARE OF AND HUMBLY APOLOGIZED), the lack of facilities and amenities, as well as maintenance (ang nursing, wala diay gihapon hospital nga stable sah? I could go on.

And why do we have to take it to the streets if we are to tackle the issues I mentioned above?

I just remembered atong student party nga nisud sa among room, nag hisgut ug student rights, pero gi question sa akong classmate about the CRUCIAL ISSUES of the school, wala ka tubag.

My point is, yes, some of the policies do suck for students (and to an extent, a student like me), but should I immerse my reputation into pure infamy and join a stupid rally just because I DON'T WANT TO WEAR THAT UNIFORM or ID SLING? Maypa mag uniform nalang ko ui, magpa tupi, mag ID sling, limpyo pa ko tan-awon.

this is a debate between USC students and USC graduates.

as a brotherly advice to the students paminaw mu sa mga maguwang ninyo dnhi. we have gone through what you are currently experiencing now the only difference is that we dont have such rules naa krn. but despite that, doing rally coz of such issues is futile and a waste of time. agree ko to some nga mas maau pa mgrally kng ang service dli mau kysa mgrally tungod ana. pgstudy nlng mu mga dodong ug inday that what your there for.

kng gusto mu ug tag as buhok balik mu sa amu panahon.

ka remember lang ko sko self before..
brings back the memories of the not so old times (kay di pa man ko tiguwang..haha)

basta estudyante gani ka, hastang daghana yaw2x gyud..
    daghan pangutana, daghan reklamo..
    i was once like that..
    meeting diri, meeting didto..
naa gani rally hala apil dayon..
naa gani walk-out protest apil dayon..
mg black shirt dayon as a sign of protest..

BUT this i realized.. some students are too brat and to trivial in their supposed concerns..

maybe, i have aged.. but not that much.. di pa man ko tiguwang sd..
i can still sympathize to legitimate concerns..
