Help me decide...HD5850 Xfire or HD5970

Hi guys, i'm planning to upgrade my VC this coming October and as of right now, it's a bit difficult to decide which path to go...here are some factors that i used for consideration:

-it's either a HD 5850 Crossfire or HD 5970
-max budget is 33k
-i will NOT be doing eyefinity, i only have a samsung t220
-my board is a gigabyte x58 ud3r
-chassis is haf 922 (dli ba kaya maghuot or tingali'g d masulod ang 5970?)


I have read reviews wherein a 5850 xfire would perform at par or better than a 5970...maybe you guys have a different opinion on the matter? kindly share! i would really appreicate it!

imo whichever is cheaper. 5970 is slightly more powerful tho. sakto rana sa 922 bro

2 5850s are easier to dispose too when you decide to upgrade again in 6 months. hehe.

get the cheapest and use the extra money to buy something else. besides we our eyes cant differenciate more than 60fps anyways...

affirmative, the eye can only cope with 24fps if you wanna be more accurate about it.

mas kick ass tan-wan ang rig if naka Xfire ka so go for it and ang mahabilin sa imo 33k add a little and get a sound blaster x-fi ^____^

btw, regarding power consumption, asa man mas efficient 2xHD5850s or 1xHD5970?

you really have good points mga bro...so advantages sa 5850 xfire:

-cheaper than 1x5970
-lesser power consumption kesa 5970
-pwede ko kpalit extra stuff
-mas choy tan awn! lolz!

so far most of the guys are veering for the 5850 xfire...let's hear from someone to defend the 5970, para ready na jud ko by october

also...which brand would be great for either 5850 or 5970?
