i have a question about pldt dsl, do you guys have good ping to international game servers? i'm currently on globe broadband and i lag so hard because of the poor ping time. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

most , even gamers, say they have good latencies to international servers.
probably or truly they have good routing configuration.
@chipmunk888 i hope and pray that what your saying is true, i'm going to apply for pldt dsl soon. anyone got suggestions for a load balancing router?
@ swordfish69
we had three wan before, bayan, pldt, and globe configured in a multiwan router. gamers prefer pldt and bayan due to lesser lag as per their experience. i seldom load globe for they hate it before unless for failover ^^
on the other hand, one of my close friend's cafe who has heavy online gamers is networked by globe ever since but no complains about lag but rather extremely timely & extremely lousy technical support when banged down ^^
ask lang ko ninyo mga bro, Dapit sa EverReady / Deca Mandaue area. kusog ni ang PLDT DSL or internet?
Salamat
no recommendation. most function same (as per load balancing concerns). just a matter of preferred brand.
but;
i was using 4wan tplink (bought outside the country) and sold it thereafter. it has ixp intel network processor. so far it served as advertised.
now replaced with 2wan edimax (bought outside the country). i use also 2wan dlink (bought locally) but had issue (i forgot what was it specifically). thus dlink gave me special firmware to fix it.
all configured to failover, and not load balancing, for some reasons; except the previous 4wan tplink.
you can google their company's websites for more details.
@chipmunk888 i ordered a dual WAN edimax router which will arrive next week. my question is how do i setup it so that i can connect wirelessly. im currently using a linksys WRT-120n for my entire shop network and 2switches. So what do you think will be the best setup so that they all stay on one network. Thanks!
anyone else can help me on my question above? thanks
Dependi sa location. Kay ang ping nako 45ms tawn, pero sa silingan namo mga 30meters sa amo, iyang ping kay 37ms, then sa lain silingan namo is 65ms.
Then + pa ang wiring ana sa inyong linya.
