naa ko gsignan na 1 year contract mga november last year...
tapos karon la na ako nibayad sa smartbro kay wala na ko net.. naguba ky nabasa sa ulan katong murag box na ikabit sa router ba na xa... well..
pagtanaw nako naa daw ko bayranan na 24,000+ pesos.. (WTF?!) because i signed daw 2 year contract ... ataya nila.

unsay mahitabo kung d ko mubayad sa ilaha? dako-a sa bayranan... d pajud mao ang contract na nakabutang sa letter na gipadala sa akoa..

dili cguro ka pa bayaron oi kay wala man kaha ka ni terminate sa connection. imo raman kaha gipa ayo sa ilaha. mora ilisan raman cguro na nila ang box.

la naman q planu mubayad pa.. kay lawc kaau.. stated sa contract upto 2mbps ang speed unya wala ni abot sa 2mbs maski pa unsaon... maski peak time or what.. so gbreach na nila ang contract from the start palang.. starting day 1 they installed my connection.. yawa kauu ni cla.. nka butang 24,000 pesos ang bayranon sa disconnection fee... la q plano mubayad ana.. d ta bugu to pay what you have not used...
what if d ko mubayad sa ilaha? murag last 3 months na ako wala bayad bayad... unsay mahitabo ana?

kontrata man gud na bai scorpy og imo na gi pirmahan... sabton gyud na nimo ang contract since its legal and should be. if mobalibad ka, mahimo kang illegal ana. e pa replace na imo modem para magka internet ka balik. kanang "upto" 2mbps kay dili na nimo makuha exactly kay thats a shared bandwidth, silbi daghan mo nagsoyop anang usa ka source duol sa inyoha(pareha tubig gikan sa main pipe sa mcwd)...dili na dedicated line imong gikuha nga service. cguro naa kay penalty sa cost sa kanang modem if wala na nimo palita sa ilaha..

dali ra man na imong problema oi, replace the modem from them then bayad lang ka sa modem cost since imo man na obligation ang modem which is ilang property (if wala na nimo palita nila upon pag apply nimo).

Sakto si Chipmunk re: "upto". Subscribers who get residential/non-corporate packages should take note of that connotation. When they say "upto", it doesn't mean you'll be able to get 2Mbps the entire time... it just means that you can "burst upto" 2Mbps when the line permits... which is normally during off-peak hours. People have to put in mind that these packages are Non-SLA's, so they're not really guaranteeing you anything.

On topic, since you said na starting pa sa Day 1 you had issues with your line already, did you report these incidents since day 1? And weeks after that, during that entire 3 months that you've had issues, did you also report those? If you did report them, did they act on it? Did you have ticket numbers for these reports?

If you reported all your issues to them and they did not act on it, then you have reason enough not to continue with the service, but this should also be voluntary on your part meaning, you should inform them of your intent to discontinue the service and give them the reasons. You can't just say.. "ah problematic man ni akong connection, bahala na ni sila ug maningil, di gyud ko mobayad". Mas better pa if mo ingon ka nila na.. "problematic inyong connection, kung dili ni ninyo ayohon, dili ko mobayad"... and it should be done during the fact, not after the fact. From the looks of it, you'll have to expect a demand letter anytime soon.

base on my experience lng ha. sauna 1 year contract pana ang smart bro. katong hapit nko mag 1 year like mga 10 months nko nag gamit, nka decide ko na putlon cya. nya ingun cla bayaran nko daw ang remaininig 2 months since kai 1 year lock-in period ko. But kanang 24k dili ko mutoo na kana ang ipabayad sa imuha. nag sugod na gud ka ug 1 year so mga 12k nlng imung bayaran if mag pa putol nka.

another scenario, if imu e reason out na kai naguba u connection, pwede na nimu e report den ila na ilisdan. dili naa kaabot ug 1 month ang pag pailis.

you should read the contract again if there is such a thing as mubyad ka ana nga payment if you didnt pay your bill, also experienced this before i even received a letter from the laywer, but i didnt bother since there was no such thing written in the contract that i would pay such amount so i ended up didnt paying it at all, serves them right for sending me a scare letter. as far as i remember if you were to terminate your contract you would only pay 2x the original price db?.. also go to their office and complain about the router.

I'm not totally sure when to nila gi-implement ang 2 years contract.
Last year of July man ko nikuha and that time 1 year ra ang lock-in period, pero ako to gibayran ang router.
Sure ka 1 year lang to sa imo gipirmahan nga SAF (Service Application Form)? Pila tanan imo gi-advance ug bayad ato na time?

then dapat jud unta, imo na greklamo imo unit didto para makafile ug proper report.
i think pwedi man na nila i-hunong sa imo bayranan while wala pa kay service unit.
then ila na ayohon imo router or kun dili madala ila na ilisan (not sure if naay additional cost)

ang rule man gud anang dli mo-human sa ila contract:
yung remaining months + penalty(kalimot ko sa term) mao na imo total bayran.

either imo na i-settle or pasagdan.
Pasagdan=bad record ka sa ila. not sure if may nakaso na ba jud ani if dli mo bayad.

If the contract states that you pay for the remaining months of the unfinished contract, then possible gyud ng 24k. Plus pa tingali na sa iyang 3 months, kay ingon man ang TS nga 3 months na sya walay bayad2x.
