i strongly suggest getting a 3000+ venice then overclock it way past 3200+.............. 3200+ is not a good overclocker (believe me,, im using one)....Originally Posted by king_coy

Its all luck of the draw mate. Not all 3000 are better overclockers than the 3200, vice versa.Originally Posted by bim27142
Stepping, Revision..
I have both the 3000+, 3200+ and the 3500+ as well, all sitting on identical DFI boards paired with TCCD modules.
I can't get the first two to run at 2.7Ghz or higher, both can neither run @ 300HTT (FSB), while the third one ran @ a decent 2.7Ghz and can go 3.0 @ an increment of voltage added
The first two has DH-E3 Revision, Stepping 0, while the 3500+ has DH-E6 Revision, Stepping 2..
3000+/3200+ came from a boxed package and the latter third was on an OEM Tray..
3000+ is now running @ 281x9, 1.65v 2.53Ghz (E3)
3200+ is now running @ 250x10 1.65v 2.5Ghz (E3)
3500+ is now running @ 300x9 1.6v 2.7Ghz (E6)
