Abs exercise will not give you six-pack abs. You need to do compound exercises and intense cardio such as interval training. Also, it is much more important to eat right than do sit-ups everyday.

I use powerlifting compound exercises like the power clean and press. For specific instructions on how to do this move just google it or watch on youtube: YouTube - 240x11 clean and press

It works out almost all the muscles which lets you burn fat faster. It is bodyfat percentage that determines whether you have six-pack abs or not.

    In simple terms:
Six pack abs = Eating right (low carbs, high protein/fat), interval training, compound lifts (clean and press, deadlift) then finally core training (sit ups, planks, leg ups) so as you can see, abs specific exercise is very low in priority and in my opinion is not even absolutely needed to get a six-pack to show.

Agreed! Ab exercises only builds up the core while eating right is the only way to lose the fats that are covering your abs

IMHO lang, my recommendation , a mild strict diet, not less than 3-times a week workout with an hour or 2 would be sufficient within a 2year period straight.

This is the training that I use for cutting:

Old-school circuit training with medium weights (12 reps) emphasizing compound exercises.

    - Barbell Clean and Press (get a trainer to teach you this it needs to be done properly to avoid injury) 4 sets, 30 second rest in between

    Super sets of:
    - Bench press, 30 sec rest after
    - Pullups, 30 sec rest after
    do 3 sets.

    Super sets of:
    - Dips, 30 sec rest after
    - Bent over row, 30 sec rest after
    do 3 sets.

    Core work:
    - Woodchop with dumbells, 12 reps each side (2 sets)

    - Barbell rollover (for abs)

    - Sit ups (20 reps) (1 set)

    End.

The most important thing is not to rest more than 30 seconds otherwise it would defeat the purpose of the workout.

Nice routine bro! You change your routine after some time right? You are absolutely correct in the rest period! Too much resting kills the intensity of the workout is which one of the biggest mistakes you can make if you're looking for crazy gains!
