My opinion lang, I'm not comfortable calling the LPZ pattern as a head and shoulders. It's a little too noisy in my opinion. If anything, it looks more like the handle to the larger cup that starts at January of 2008 and ends at around August of 2009. Can you see what I mean? Also, H&S is usually a reversal pattern, not a continuation pattern. What do you think?

In any case, if it is a cup and handle, which is what I think it is, then the upside is way larger since it should be the height of the cup rather than the head which is to be projected upward from the point of breakout, albeit longer timescale pud.

Yup, kita ko sa imoha gi mean na cup and handle. The handle part looks like a head and shoulder pattern. For me two overlapping patterns ni siya.. Good thing to is they are both bullish pattern making the pattern more stronger. Anyway, once mo failed ang isa means a possible failure pud sa isa ka pattern.

On daily shart I think it looks like it is building a base. My problem right now is the daily quotation report on the PSE web site is not available. Can't update my charts.

I'm hoping the new system will not hinder our trading week..

If you are using amibroker, go to LPZ chart, click on symbols, then merge. Key in BPC and voila!

Ep, unsa d i ang trading hours sauna sa PSE? Regarding sa volatility, bati d i mag day trade ug philippine stock? what about the index?

Trading our sa PSE was 9:30 to 12:00 M-F. Pre-opening at 9:00-9:30. and wrap up closing at 12:00-12:10. Pero mausab ni siya sa new trading system na ilaha gi implement starting today. Which for me affected jud ang volatility sa market kay mas nigagmay iya fluctuation. Sa previous trading system ang tag P10.25 to P25.00 na stocks kay tag 0.25 ang per fluctuation. then ang P25.50 to P100 kay tag 0.50.. Karon sa ilaha new trading system. ang price fluctuation kay 0.02 for P10-P19 stocks, 0.05 for P20-P99 stocks.. Then 0.10 for P100 to P199 na stocks.. Sa US Market bro pila man ang price fluctuations sa stocks?

I looks like a valid symmetrical triangle with TP around 23.. For me this is a valid breakout and I think it is also bound to correct already because overextended na ito..

Very nice blog topic vondave.. Totally agreed. In fact, based on my computation we only need to get a consistent 1% overall portfolio gain daily to reach our 1 million the shortest possible time.

Here is what i found out:
Given:
-5K capital with consistent 1% gain with average interim of 1 day will make you hit 1M just 1.5 years.
-5K capital with consistent 1% gain with average interim of 5 days will make you hit 1M just 7.3 years.

-60K capital with consistent 1% gain with average interim of 1 day will make you hit 1M just 0.78 years.
-60K capital with consistent 1% gain with average interim of 5 days will make you hit 1M just 3.9 years.

-110K capital with consistent 1% gain with average interim of 1 day will make you hit 1M just 0.61 years.
-110K capital with consistent 1% gain with average interim of 5 days will make you hit 1M just 3 years.

Heres a proof using excel file:
At cell A1 write 5000, then at cell B1 write the formula: 1*A1/100 this is equivalent to our 1% gain. At cell B2 write the formula: A1+B1, then point your mouse at the lower right corner of Cell A1 (cursor will change to "+") then click ang drag down the page. Do the same with cell B1. You will find out that upon reaching line 533 you will reach your 1M. Which is simply equivalent to about 1.5 years.

mata mata ra ni pero swerte swerte pud kung makit-an. I dont think naay formula sa amibroker para ani. Kasagaran dili gyud ko kabantay, kapoyan pud ko mag scan for every ticker everyday. I regularly check the absolute traders website for trade ideas pero sometimes pud late na ko or late sila mo post. Katong LPZ and NRCP gikan to sa absolute website.

Naay entry didto for ANI then ni breakout pero ni form ug bearish engulfing. so ni fail siya. maygani wala ko ka check sa site, ipit napud unta ko ron. hihihi
