    Default Sandybridge != overclock

    SOURCE: Intel plans to deliberately limit Sandy Bridge overclocking | bit-tech.net

    We already know that Sandybridge won't have native USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0, now this.... If i know intel, they will probably want to charge you $10000000000000000000000000000000000000 for the overclockable version.

    Makes me glad i jumped on the 1366 warwagon.

    You could be right. but then again, intel would just be pressured to revise their strategy. This pressure must come from both consumers and their distributors/OEMs.

    I would like to see how the likes ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI can crack the common base clock of SBs.
    If history tells us anything, it's that Taiwanese mobo engineers are particularly adept at circumventing overclocking restrictions.
