you might have taken it very literally bro... but the point was... we humans... has something... a gift that other animals don't have... it is our intelligence, our emotions, our belief, etc... if a monkey makes his own tools, and have some sign languages... and then consider it as intelligence... can you compare it to ours? if crustaceans can live underwater... does that make them more superior than us? we have subs!if cheetahs can run faster than humans... are they better species? we have F1s and jets!
forget the crustaceans... how bout monkeys, apes, elephants, rhinos, hippos, or at least one species... why is their intelligence haven't improved much like humans? they existed first (am i right? im not sure)... we lived in the same environment... their intelligence should have developed significantly close to that of humans...
walay ko'y nahibaloan nga mananap bro... nga naay duol-duol man lang ug kahibalo sa tawo... and could this happen again by chance/taghap/chamba/aksidente?
my quarter cents...
finally, i tried searching for some materials about this very famous synthetic cell which atheists are so proud about... and bumped into this news article, saying:
Venter and company synthesized the genome of the bacterium M. mycoides by taking short strains of DNA (contemporary machines can only assemble short sequences at a time) and inserting them into yeast, whose enzymes have a keen ability to repair DNA and combine the short strains together.
what is so impressive about this? i am not really an expert about genetics or these kind of stuffs... but i think i should be more thankful to the yeast than to Mr. Venter... we aren't discrediting Venter's achievement... it is just that... the news on the synthetic cell is indeed an exaggeration... really... that's how i see it... they created a synthetic genome... sure! which is by the way... just a "copy" to that of a certain natural bacteria... then injecting it to a cell... and Woolah! they claimed it as a synthetic cell! and concluded... it is a synthetic life! and further concluded... humans can create LIFE! this is my simple reason why i am not buying it... mao bitaw bro... nga huwat na lang tah... if naa ba juy next step ani... huwat lang tah... i mean... huwat lang mo... "FOR ME"...
yep bro... we have our own opinions... and i believe other animals don't have this kind of arguments... another proof of our way, way, way, way more advanced intelligence...
though i don't consider humans as animals, animalia, plantae, etc are just groups/categories invented by biologists i think for convenience in their classification of species... pero off-topic na siguro ug mu-argue pa mo ani..."FOR ME" ra bitaw...
