i would suggest go for the second one dli kaau cya complicated.

nka try nko ug himo ana way back in college out of curiosity, dli lang noun to simulator.

for me mas sayon ang pag drawing sa .net pero naa ra nimo unsa imo naandan
vb6 to ako nagamit sa una kay wla pa .net ato nga time

kung 2D lang, medyo madali for VB and to you aswell.

bisag unsa na language as long as your using directX for your graphics, makaya ra na..
therefore dli mo matter if vb6 or vb.net, pero naa nay directx built specially for manage develpment
so murag dali2 nalang ang integration sa vb.net and directx. just look for "managed directx" keyword sa google.
