file sharing problems: "access denied"

the problem that i have is that i could see the shared folder in the "my network places" but as soon as i click such folder, i'm getting an access denied error and couldn't access the folder. what could i do to solve such problem? i tried disabling the firewall once but still no avail.

right click folder > select sharing and security... > go to security tab > click ok.

tried that, wala man security tab nigawas. any other way?

Go to the root directory, inheritance the permission also check the attributes of EVERYONE suppose to be read, write & execute eventhough it doesn't work. check the properties of other folder who are shared just tally or match the settings. This might solve your problem.

Tools - Folder Options - View Tab - Uncheck Use simple file sharing - Apply

then you can check again the security tab.
