Default HTPC - build in Cebu or bring over from NZ

Planning to do an HTPC build for my Dad. Heading home this July and was hoping people could help me find out if these parts or substitutes are readily available in Cebu.

Antec NSK2480 HTPC case NZ$235 (roughly P7000~P8000 if converted to Pesos)

    ASUS P7H55-M NZ$160 (roughly P4800~P5500)

    Intel i3 530 Clarkdale NZ$180 (roughly P5400~6200)

    WD 2TB Caviar Green NZ$195 (roughly P5850~6500)

Lisod man gud style sa Cebu cos naa sa web pricelist sa mga PC shops but most of the time warehouse stock pa or, worse, special order pa from Manila.

On the other hand, it'll be easier for me to travel if I don't have as much crap to pack.

    Thanks
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you

Sweet! Thanks! I'm guessing naa ra pud ang i3 para sa mainstream PC users.

I think I'll just buy the case since no one seems to carry this model.

Probably buying the 2TB HDD also since mahal sa Pinas.

I've got a lot of stuff na but haven't gotten everything yet.

im looking into a mobo right now. I was thinking of getting the MSI 890GXM-G65 and do a hybrid crossfire with a hd4830.

regarding the case, shockingly expensive ang mga HTPC cases!! i decided to go with a cooler master elite 360 lang since it is waaayy cheaper. although it is bigger, i get the benefit of cable management routing and of course the price....
Money saved on the case would benefit me on the peripherals imo.

Of course, for best bang for the buck, im going the AMD solution. i actually managed to snag a x3 740BE for this but i decided to give that cpu to my dad and use his x3 720BE instead.

For hdd, im getting two hd103sj in RAID 0. these are the best regular hdd imo. better and cheaper than caviar blacks and velociraptors.

What interface do you plan on using? XBMC or Boxee? I'm thinking of Boxee since i hate almost everything with microsoft on it... lol

Yeah I wish I could say the same. The look is important to me because it'll be sitting in the AV setup rack in Dad's cinema room. It'll look real off if it's not an HTPC case.

I know what you're talking about them being too expensive though.

Why are you grabbing an HD4830 though? The 4290 should be more than enough for 1080p right?
Or are you planning to do some light gaming with the rig as well?

the 4830 should be backup lang hahaha. that's the benefit of hybrid crossfireX which saves me from higher electric bill when the 4830 is not in use.... the vga should also help with video format conversion. The elite 360 is not that bad though since you can change the orientation horizontally... but it is still big.. but i'd rather get a cable routing solution to make the assembly much2x easier.

@P0w3rM0v3: you can also use Vertu Slim Case @ 1,800 sa PCX. but you can't install the HD 4830
