dili pa nimo ma appreciate ang dual core sa karon hilabi na sa games kay gamay pa lang games na optimized for dual core...pero soon mag take advantage na ang software sa dual core..and dra makita nimo na helpful ang dual core..
iff topic:
and if mag games ka? why choose P4 when AMD64 is better sa games?
or intel's CONROE..la pa hinuon na release..
Yes im perfectly aware of the nForce4 Intel Edition, but have you seen reviews on it ?Originally Posted by bossdak
nvidia doesnt make good Intel chipsets and its been proven again with the nForce4 Intel Edition
And if he does go out and buy an nForce4 Intel Edition he would spend more for a DDR2-667 or DDR-800 modules.
the i925XE is enough to compare for it, nig compare na2 sa Intel Bad Axe (conroe ready mobo) or i975 layo na kaayo an gap
Some online retailers are selling the X6800 already.. dont bother with the price tho.Originally Posted by gravy_addict

kanang mga CONROE ready na mobo (ie, LGA 775 mobos nga released early this year), is it as good as mobos nga released for CONROE juds
not 100% of them daw can be used for conroe, some will require a bios update others dli daw.. dunno how true this is.Originally Posted by gravy_addict

(my asus mobo got destroyed thru short circuit because I tried to use an old printer not used for a number of years... Printer worked fine but when I turned off the pc, removed the printer and restarted, pc no has no more display) I don't know if naay possibity nga maka daot ni sa ako other hardware and power supply aside from the mobo nga nadaot.. Though ga function raman tanan nako hardware and power supply with the new mobo and proc.

Other parts the same
Some effects of the change I noticed:
* opening of programs and start up I feel is improved.
* other games aside from nba live 2006: matrix path of neo, age of empires 3, prince of persia 2 feels like it improved pero just a little ra
* nba live 2006 loads way longer than the previous setup. My previous setup paspas jud kayo mu load and walay drag during gameplay using 1024x768 resolution and high detail settings. Ang new setup nako aside sa dugay mu load, mu drag pajud during gameplay when naay messages that pop up (ex. Set plays, or calls of the referee)
* I have 2 windows installers, 1 is xp service pack 1, the other is windows 98... Wala jud ni paltos with my last setup... With my new setup, both installers dili jud kalahos, cge naay cannot copy this file properly. (i dont know if this has something to do with the new mobo)
Didto nuon kos store naka pa install with pay.
Pentium D is good for applications..they're not impressive sa games..
If you want to have good performace kung games..switch to AMD or Pentium 4 EE. Kita gyud ka sa difference.
