IMO, abortion shouldn't be a solution. Of course it would be hard for the mother to bear such traumatic experience na ginadalhon niya for 9 months. But I don't know which is more bearable the memory of the horrific experience or ending a life. I say just keep it. If the victim is not ready emotionally, financially or whatever reasons. She could always give it to a good couple who are longing to have a child of their own. Makahatag pa siya ug blessing to other people.

But that's just me. It's still the decision of the victim. It's a very difficult decision to make, I can only imagine.

[I]I was responding to your hypothetical question ^^ and put myself as the fetus. What I meant was fetuses wouldn't have the cognitive thinking to realize what's going on in the outside world. That's what I meant by I wouldn't have a clue.

Pardon me if it sounds a HYPOTHETICAL QUESTON . I am just being realistic because these are sensitive matters and issues and not just about something to talk about for the reason of being discussed in istorya.net . So basically it is a realistic scenario that deserves a realistic answer wether it is opinion based or straightforward .

Because she knew herself well enough to choose & decide that she was CAPABLE of raising a child, regardless of what happened to her. She knew she could feed and nurture me everyday, potty train me, be patient with my my tantrums, give me 15 years of education while juggling bills and putting shelter over my head. She knew she could give me proper medical care should I get sick.
And even if she was planning to give me up for adoption, she knew she was capable of taking care of her pregnant body for 9 months, adjust to hormonal imbalances, considered her diet, her work, limitations, medical expenses, PreNatal vitamins & milk and health risks to bring a healthy baby to full term. She knew she could handle childbirth. She knew she could afford to lose months of work due to maternity leave or should she be confined in a hospital. She knew she could find a good orphanage or foster home for me to grow up in. She knew she was capable and CHOSE to have me.

That is beside the point for a well done job , she did the right thing for keeping you wether she is capable of raising you or not .

So..

What about for those victims who AREN'T capable? Do you make the choices for them as well?

A lot of help are out there , its just that IGNORANCE is their main reason why they resort to ABORTION or INTENTIONAL MISCARRIAGE ( if there is such a thing ) . Though here sa Pilipinas murag lisod jud kay ang DSWD wala kaayo maximum backing sa government but we are talking about it general where the LAW of the LAND is in effect maski di na lang apilon ang LAW of GOD aron applicable sa both atheist and theist and walay ikyas jud . Their parents are out there doing nothing , some are in jail , some are gambling and some are probably having s3x again .
