YouTube - Carl Sagan On God(s)-"Why Not Save A Step?"In many cultures it is customary to answer that God created the universe out of nothing. But this is mere temporizing. If we wish courageously to pursue the question, we must, of course ask next where God comes from? And if we decide this to be unanswerable, why not save a step and conclude that the universe has always existed? [Carl Sagan, Cosmos, page 257]

"In the end, Science will prevail." Stephen Hawkings
My Third argument:
Life cannot simply be born from lifeless chemicals.
Attempts to produce small living cells from inorganic matter disappoints scientists. They just all end up a dead chemical compound.
The presence of life demands a Giver of Life.
Here are some quotes from scientists.
"It's a very long leap from [mineral] surface chemistry to a living cell." Norman Pace (evolutionary biologist, University of California, Berkeley). (18)
"On theoretical grounds, however, it [mineral clay synthesis] seems implausible. Structural irregularities in clay that were complicated enough to set the stage for the emergence of Ribonucleic acid: a chemical that directs the manufacture of proteins and sometimes codes for the genetic material within certain organisms.RNA probably would not be amenable to accurate self-replication." (Leslie Orgel)
'There is now overwhelmingly strong evidence, both statistical and Relating to the earth science study of fossil organisms and their related remains.paleontological, that life could not have been started on Earth by a series of random chemical reactions.... There simply was not enough time... to get life going." Niles Eldridge (paleontologist at the American Museum of Natural History). (19)

Stephen Hawking, George Ellis, and Roger Penrose extended the equations for general relativity to include space and time. Not only space, but also time has a beginning - at the Big Bang.
The Beginning of Time
How can Carl Sagan give conclusion that the universe has existed eternally when it is logically invalid?
The concept of infinite past of physical objects is not possible.
An event (like a death of a star) involves finite series of events or time before the event occurred.
Let's just say that before the Big Bang, there were simple forms of Gas and Dust. If these Gas and Dust were always there (eternal), then how come the Big Bang exploded some 14 Billion Years ago? why not 500 Billion years ago?
Simply put, the idea of an infinite past of physical objects is not possible.
Even NASA has acknowledged, that our Universe is about 14 Billion years old. That means to say, the universe, had a beginning.

Instead of Arguing that universe depends on a cause
this arguments tries to show that the uncaused is the
originating cause.
