here's a comparison using AS SSD Benchmark. HDD screenshot on the left and SSD on right.
The benchmark took only a few minutes to run when testing the SSD but a loooong time for HDD (maybe 1.5hrs?? or more??).
Waiting for more comments from SSD users.

From my lappy Toshiba X-205.

unsay good brands ani? Im looking for 100 GB SSD.
And murag papalit nalang ko sa gawas.![]()
^I'd suggest getting the OCZ Vertex 2 100GB, its already using the SF controller so has superior read/write compared to other SSDs, even compared to the Intel X25-M Gen 2.
e_mer8 - salamat sa screen shot. We get very similar results using HD Tune.
I wonder why on a HDD, speed somehow drops towards the end of the benchmark. And how does it translate to average usage - if this is actually noticeable when reading/writing large files.
Metz - any OCZ, Intel models will be ok. 100gb SSD will cost you around $200 for the above average models
P0w3rM0v3 - nag SSD na ka sa bag-o rig nimo? human na ba?
Bumping this thread in hopes of getting more feedback from users.
If i were to get a good high end SSD today, this would be it.
