ASPIN... is there any move to standardize our local breed?

My take on that is, it is already too murky to find the true origin of Aspins, considering all the mixes and all the irregular breeding that is happening in our country. The information that humper has posted earlier in this thread, has really explained it well.

The Dingo in Australia is believed to be an Asian native dog that was brought to Australia many many years ago. The dog became feral and has completely adapted to the wild environment and later became a true wild dog. That's probably the reason, why the Dingo looks so ordinary and so much like a domesticated dog even though they are wild. Perhaps the original Aspins may have looked like a Dingo.

Standardizing Aspins is possible, but it may be difficult if we base it on it's original form.

BTW, with regards with the topic....maybe if naa lang jud siguro organization or a group of experts about Aspins na magka hiusa for Standardizing of Aspins...possible jud siguro sya...pero yup its a long process kay ang aspin is a mixed of a lot of breed jud....

But I think we need to start sa pag accept sa atong iro jud na what we called ASPINS..kay lahi rajud og pagtagad na ihatag sa ila compare sa other breeds..some gani na mga tao mo discriminate og dili pure breed unsa pa kaha atong ASPINS.....kay if mawala na ang discrimination sa mga breed sa dogs..for sure sayon ra sa ASPIN maka join og mga dog show and etc....

I have been hearing comments about that and have actually lived with a neighbor with Ilongga Maids and indeed the story and experiences from other people are indeed true. I'm not trying to discriminate you, but the way Ilonggas talk are annoying and distracting. The maids from next door are really irritating, disrespectful and mga HAMBUGERA indeed.
