Basig pwde nila m.consider ang Cebu sah, as long as daghan ta. Probably more than 50 jd na. Also, katong ilang customers only nga seminar, basig pwde rasd na ma arrange, kai murag daghan man sd guro naa dri nga COL clients sd. Pwde ra guro na nila i.email blast sa ilang cebu users.

Aku so far, kani pa nga group nga taga cebu aku nahibawan nga tig trade sa stocks.

Pwde sd ta mag gather before ana nga event at least makabaw ta kung unsa na bata k.daghan. And pwde sd mo mag speak about sa inyung mga inputs - pra m.encourage sd uban to attend.

Nindot sd nang wide selection of stocks kai naay diversification.
Naa bana minimum board lot ang COL? Like must be divisible by 10 or 100 or some minimum in buying/selling stocks? Kai aku nahibawan sa virtualtycoon nila, naa may ing.ana..hehe..

    What's your strategy?

You guys day traders, range or swing?

Let's keep the ball rolling, and make money work for us...
Ok first I think I need to give a little background sko trading. I had the opportunity to study under a full time trader (> 10 years) who was a stock broker. Actually group mi ato, including the 23 year old na full time trader. At least I can say that he is a specialist in Fibonacci sequences which he uses extensively in his trading career. I never knew how much he makes because I'd rather learn how he trades but a closed friend na ga earn ug same thing as him was getting at least 21k in a week and I'm not talking about pesos. As for indicators=it's a calculation of past data, so your gonna only see what had happened na but some people have success with it. Fibonacci sequence are numbers of probabilities. It's a projection of FUTURE probable Support and resistance and TP. Mostly works til it fails. If you look at the chart na ako g post kay I entered early @ the breakout because of Price action which by the way takes time to learn jd. Then next entries are Fib sequence if you noticed it. And That is how most hedge funds/institution trade, they add positions in one direction until they see a reversal or see that it has achieved a full run. If mu reversed to kalit ang direction, i can still buff the loss with the earnings sko mga few entries so doesn't really hurt much but if sakto ko then mutagak pa jd so kbaw nata ana. That strategy is not applicable with limited capital.

Part time ra due to visa restriction so I just swing trade.

Same thing applies to 3:1 ratio. We make sure our reward will be atleast 3x our risk.

Note: I never risk more than 2% of my main capital on any single trade.

I am planning to upgrade my citiseconline account to COL2x (margin account). Need more capital first to met the minimum requirements. For me, nindot ang margin account coz mamaximize nya atoa earnings potential.

I am not yet a full time trader. Ikaw ya? full time trader naka? How long have you been trading in the market?
Ang margin account is a whole new world. You need to be aware jd kay pogsit if ka recieve ka ug margin call so make sure you check/make a new money management plan for it. Then as for risk, I risk only 1% but kbaw naka anang stock sometimes mu gap. As for Reward...naay saying "cut losses early and let your profits run" mao mn cguro na. minimum reward should be 3 but if I get stopped sometimes breakeven ra or $1-2+ profit. I set a hard stop jd of $1(distance from entry to SL).

Here's my take why you should aim for 1:3 and not lesser.

Assuming 30% accuracy raka which by standards worst na performance. With 1:3, you can actually breakeven or gain a small profit.

    Example:

    Risk 100, Reward: x3=300
in 10 trades: 7 losses and 3 wins.

    7 losses= -700
    3 wins= 900

Goodluck sa tanan sa inyong trading journey. I think I've said enough na, I don't want to hi-jack this thread, pasensya na.

Dili pko full time trader, i'm not that consistent with my profits. I'm now 1.5 years into trading. My 1st yr is good since I profit 100% in US market, but now I'm back to break even. I'm planning to open citisec accnt also and trade in PSE.

I see 3:1 ratio is good, I should use that for my trades. How do you calculate your target price? From chart or from analysts forecasts?

Does your trading platform have stop loss order?

You mentioned adding positions, i have a question: if you have many buy orders done in one day, will the broker commision be counted per buy order or per day?

Yes, by board lot ang pag palit ug stocks sa atoa local market..

You can check the minimum boardlot per range sa price here:
    Philippine Stock Exchange

Naa pud didto ang TAX/FEE per transaction (Buy/Sell).
