I had a mobo done by greenvalley in labangon in 2008 and i was happy with the service, their deal was no fix no pay. I tried them out since they sounded credible with that slogan. They got the job done and i remember the guy who assisted me was really kind. When limes said they put up a shop in raintree, i went there since it was much nearer. When i got there i was told that since February 1, 2010 there has been a change of management and new policies are in place. That should have been a signal for me to walk away.

Saturday, April 17, I brought my motherboard to them. Problem of the mobo is that there is no display. I spoke to Rene who explained to me a lot of technical stuff that i did not understand. He further said that I didnt need to pay if they are unable to fix it except for diagnostic fee of Php200.00. I was hesitant to have it done at that point but thought that since i was there, might as well give it a shot. After i said ok, he informed me that i had to leave a 50% downpayment. Stupid as i am, I did.

Today, i called following up the status of my board since i havent heard from them. They said its hopeless. So i asked what made it hopeless, it took a while before the girl could tell me that there was no bios available. Big question mark on my head but i didnt bother to ask what that had to do with the display problem. I didnt insist anymore since i figure i have been screwed.

What really pissed me off was that they told me i had to wait for a week to get my refund. If you went to a store and the cashier would tell you that you can just come back after a week to get your change, wouldnt you wonder why it will take that long when you gave them the cash outright? I asked the girl why it was so, she said it is their policy.

She forwarded the phone to Gilbert and i asked him again. He was very irate when he said that he was just an employee and that he is only following company policy. I would have appreciated an apology that they did not inform me when i gave my deposit but to be yelled at for asking a very obvious question shows the customer service you expect from this company.

Gilbert and I yelled at each other as he struggled with his english until he told me that its just 300, come and get it now and he dropped the phone. If it were that easy, why do you have to make your customers wait for money that is due them? I didnt bother to call back, i had no intentions of getting it today anyway, i just couldnt understand what the logic behind the 1 week wait was.

They called me back just now to tell me i can come and get my refund.

Its 300 pesos, its not much but its the principle behind having to wait for change. Had i been told when i gave my deposit, it wouldnt have been a problem. Also, being yelled at for asking a question is simply absurd!

If anyone knows the new owners of this place, please let them know that their customer service sucks big time! BAD TRIP!
they said my motherboard is hopless also!
i wait for another week for refund..
    i will not recommend gv.

I just want to share my experience too with green valley....

kato green valley sa labangon, i had the motherboard of my husband fixed there for 700php then na okay man sya 1year and a half pud to namo na puslan ang 700php...karon naguba ang motherboard pa-ayo nasd ne namo balik...satisfied ko sa laha services...

then, nagrefer ako bana sa yaha friend na ayo yaha computer...then pag december 2009 we went to raintree mall kay naa man d-i ngadto ilaha new shop, naguba ang ako-a computer ingon sila powersupply, nya ilisdanan og memory... it costs me about 1,300php para pa repair... then after awhile guba gihapon ask ko refund. up until now la japon ko refund-e ako nalang gikapoy sige followup. to think ang gasto pa nako sa taxi from talisay sa raintree mall back and forth pa na.. dako au ko gasto ato nya ingon ana lang ilaha serbisyo. indot lage og porma ang shop sa kadghan sa tawo na naa ngadto way ayo ilang serbisyo!

ako na intawn to gi-condemn and never will i ever go back to raintree mall again to green valley! ive wasted time, money (kay na stop ko work ato), and effort sige adto follow up dala2x sa system unit para maayo lang unya wa d-i ghapon kwenta!
