Hey.
i'm planning to buy another phone aside from my new htc hd2 probably next week, im thinking of getting a white nokia e63.
can you install themes,games and music on a nokia e63 phone?
And also, what is nice about the e63? like features etc. dli ba siya boring? ma ilisan ba sad siya ug casing?

I think di siya ma ilisan ug casing. Hehe, I don't have a Nokia E63 but I have E71. I think it's the same, you can download themes, apps. etc2. 2 MP megapixel cam.

I think di ka ma boringan.

after taking pictures pwede dayon upload sa FB.

btw, like you naa sad ko HTC, Touch2 lng naa sad me Nokia e63.
my advice is look for better alternatives,
stay away from symbian smartphones.

I own a (red) Nokia E63. i've had it since december 2008. some observations:

- i had a broken/defective ear piece inside the phone. since it was under warranty, it was replaced.
- at first i replaced the themes. only a few installed but eventually i grew old of changing the themes.
- after a month or so, it kept restarting. but i think that's because i dont ever turn off my phone even if its charging so sometimes when i charge, i just shut it off and then i dont experience restarts that much.
- sometimes it hangs. like i try going into the menu, i know im in the menu but all i see on screen is the main standby page. annoying but tolerable.
- i use its WiFi when i go to food joints that have free WiFi. i dont bring my laptop because my phone is enough to provide entertainment and research. for facebook, i upload photos using the phone but have to send it to an email address facebook gives you. a bit of a hassle but at least i dont have to lug a laptop/netbook around (kuyaw kawat).
- its media player is roughly slow especially in making playlists or deleting playlists. however, it has become handy in times when there is a presentation and no laptop/PC/macbook in sight to use for audio.
- it fell a couple of times from different heights yet it still works well.
- installed a few games, eventually i grew old of them.


overall experience: this is a great phone and all the features including the office suit was used. i never regretted getting this phone. worth every peso.

oh, casing-wise, i've never seen a white casing.. tanga lang gyud ko. but yes, the casing is replaceable for around P900 (orig man siguro ni).
