This is what i wanted to get but they are out of stock daw last i checked.

    Andz - correct

Few more observations: Win7 64bit installes in 15m, installing programs very fast, opening apps is instant. Very happy with this entry level kingston ssd. After setting up all the programs, i still have 30gb left for other stuff. Only shows 59.6gb actual capacity of the 64gb advertised.

Mura ra kunog velociraptor ang seagate momentus bro.
Seagate's Momentus XT should become the standard hard drive in any notebook shipped. The biggest problem I have with using any brand new machine, regardless of how fast it is, is that it never feels fast because it usually has a HDD and not an SSD. While the Momentus XT isn't quite as fast as an SSD, it's a significant improvement over the mechanical drives found in notebooks today.

In many cases the Momentus XT performs like a VelociRaptor, but in a lower power, quieter package

Here's my WEI score - Specs are:

    xeon E3110
    P45 mobo
    CRucial RAM (3gb)
    OS WinXP
    PSU 550W
    GPU 8800GT

primary hard disc score is now 6.8 instead of 5.9 before, poor DRR2 score is the lowest.

AS SSD Benchmark - If you would like to try this app. here's the link:

This is mine, which is a lot better than my regular 7200rpm HDD.

Also when installing OS, did you set it to ACHI in bios instead of the default IDE/SATA option? I read that you need to manually set this in BIOS before installing the OS for full trim support in windows.

After boot up the benefit of the massive read/write speed becomes a novelty.

2x Intel X-25M Raid 0 = Extremely Fast, but no Trim. So i advice to get 1 SSD for now which Trim works.

I beg to differ earlz, as mentioned in previous posts, its not the "massive read/write speed" but more the random read/seek times that ssd's really excell in. Everything just feels faster, browsing, opening apps, shutdowns, etc etc...
I really hope these were cheaper already for us all to see the benefits. This is only the entry level model i got and the difference is noticeable. I wish all my OS drives were SSD's

Andz did not know that - i would have thought that trim is supported on those intel m's even in raid. Actually your other option would be to run them in raid o and image the drives, then when things start getting slow just re install. takes 15min for win7 64bit - should be faster on the intel m drives. Hassle i know.....
