bai,its good to know your interested into mountain biking..to give you an overview, for a basic mountain bike lang with entry level performance budget guro ka around 15-20t..pero think it over sa bai kay basin mapareho ka nako, sugod kog budget ug 25t pero now i've spent more than 35t kay sige upgrade sa parts..sa mga bike enthusiasts pa, its a sickness called "upgraditis"..hehe..

i suggest bai a budget of 30t..that would get you an average bike with better performance..

    an overview sa parts bai:
wheelset - tires, rims, spokes, nipples, and hubs(if plano ka mag discbrake puhon, buy disc ready hubs nalang para di magdoble ang gasto)
    groupset - crankset,front and rear derailleurs,shifters,cogs/casette,brakes(v-brake or disc brake),chain
frame - naay uban kuyog na seatclamp, others wala
    headset
    fork
handle bar, stem, handle grips, and bar ends(not necessary but still very useful)
    bottle cage and water bottle
lastly, inig assemble you'll need to buy cables, cable housing, cable stoppers, and cable ends

uban bike enthusiasts, lets help this guy out..please add kung naa pa kuwang..hehe..

If dli pa kaayo familiar sa mga bike parts... better buy the assembled bikes. 12k to 15k if mag v-brake ka. then 17k to 25k if mag disc brake ka. Then your ready to ride na... malmal sa bike for 1 year

If dli makaabot ug 1 year then matakdan ka anang sakit nga ilang gi tawag ug "upgraditis" then
    Sugod na dayon ug upgrade
