Hehe! It's nothing new in religion to exploit people's faith for financial gain. The enigma of its 'authenticity' is irresistible to many.

First of all, the Church is the most skeptical in terms of these relics.
That is why until now, they have not give any conclusion that it is indeed the Jesus' burial Shroud.

But they are still preserving it, hoping that after all the scientific findings, the truth will come out on the authenticity of the cloth.

Again, the Church DID NOT claim that the Shroud is INDEED Jesus' Burial cloth.

Excerpt for Pope benedict's visit to Turin.
"The Holy Shroud eloquently reminds us" of Jesus' suffering, Pope Benedict said.

Yeah, I'd rather throw it away than selling it and then get charged with fraud.

hahhaha! correct! guys, kaila mog mga mason naningkamot intawon na sila ug patoo sa mga tawo nga ang Ginoo regular lng nga tawo...or kung mahimo ingon nga dli xa perpecto in short, dli nlng xa Ginoo. Lihok nani ni satanas...paeta...sa kind of generation/panahon karon, most people are godless. para wala ko gaingon nga godless ang gahimo sa thread ani or kung kinsa mn gani nitoo atong relic. I just hope dli na ninyo questionon ang existence ni God (Jesus Christ)..and maka remember mo nga dli naxa tawo...Ginoo intawon naxa...dli ta katugkad sa iyaha...mura ratag dahong gamay..layo ra. Siya ra ang nag inusarang way truth and the life.

sometimes maka think ko nga kini jud ang scientist noh, mgpa ka ginoo jud usahay. maningkamot jud..trying hard. heheheh.

i hope this will enlighten all of you:

The Lord Jesus answered JOB (from the Book of Job chapter 3

" Who are you to question my wisdom with your ignorant, empty words?
now stand up straight and answer the questions I ask you.

Were you there when i made the world? If you know so much, tell me about it.
Who decided how large it would be? who stretched measuring line over it? Do you know all the answers?

...Job, have you ever in all your life commanded the day to dawn?

...has anyone ever shown you the gates that guard the dark world of the dead?

...Do you know where the light comes from or what the source of darkness is? Can you show them how far to go or send them back again?

...Have you ever visited the storerooms where i keep the snow and the hail? I keep them ready for times of trouble for days of battle and war.

....Who is the mother of the ice and the frost which turn the waters to stone and freeze the face of the sea?

...Can you guide the stars season by season?

...Can you shout orders to the clouds and make them drench you with rain?

and if you command the lightning to flash, will it come to you and say, "at your service?"

...are you as strong as I am? Can your voice thunder as loud as mine?

If so, stand up in your honor and pride; clothe yourself with majesty and glory.

Look at those who are proud; pour out your anger and humble them. Yes, look at them and bring them down; crush the wicked where they stand. Bury them all in the ground; bind them in the world of dead,

Then I will be the first to praise you and admit that you won the vicotry yourself."

taasa oi...pero mao rato...Ginoo gyud siya ug tawo ra intawon ta.

Please give realiable source to your claim.

So, why do you believe that it is a fake? I need answers from you, not from a website.

I suggest you back-read first since my answers might already been posted.

That image doesn't mean he's was Jesus Christ. Crucifixion was the standard form of execution method by the Romans back in the day and obviously, it was not only Jesus Christ got crucified. It was Pope Pius the XII declared that the image appeared on the cloth was Jesus Christ in 1958. I doubt he saw Jesus face to face.

For me, that image could be some random criminal back in the day who got beat to death and crucified on the cross.

Ok, so now you're telling me that you rejected the 1988's Carbon Dating result claiming that it was medieval?

So, you now believe that this Shroud came from the first Century?

You cannot compare it with photographs.

By the way, they created a 3D plot of the image and it created an exact 3D of a human face.
A simple BW photograph or painting cannot generate this.

So, are you suggesting that it is hand-painted? and not a body-mark of a human?
Just look at the video, and stop arguing. Its obvious you didnt watch the video i posted.
Ive looked at your link, and its clearly bias.

And computer 3D generated images are by no means a proof that the stain in the shroud is human. they simple generated a 3D model of the stain to repackage something fake. and you actually believe its real.

if you only watch the video, you will see that COTTON was added to the lower right side of the pure LINEN shroud. It was clearly repaired by someone to cover up the fake shroud.
    watch the video again.
