if by "we" you meant the nation as a whole then i think yes "we" deserve our government. if that government was installed and given the mandate by the majority of the people and they did so on their own volition, not coerced in any way then yes we deserve that government. majority rule.

individually however it's another story. i could argue for example that i didn't deserve GMAs goverment. i thought she was a corrupt president, i didn't vote for her and i thought i deserve better even though i have no way of knowing if my choice (roco) could have done any better. all i know is that i'm a (mostly) law abiding citizen, i paid my taxes and should have gotten a better government than hers

a good government will not exist if we only depend the president..
a good government will be effective and efficient if its senators,cabinets and all the members of the country will unite and help each other for the better..

thus, we deserve a government with a good leader that could influence unity amongst its people..

I think we deserve our government for what it was, what it is, and what it will be.

3. Tan-awa unsa kahugaw ang Cebu ug Mandaue. Gakalat ang mga basura BISAG ASA! Perte gyung HUGAWA sa Cebu. Naka-adto na ko Malaysia ug Hong Kong. Perte gyung limpyuha. Wala kay makita nga maskin usa ka wrapper sa candy sa kalsada. Disiplinado kaayo ang mga tao. Mas labaw pa gyud ang Singapore.

Ang Pilipinas purya-gaba! Walay bala-ud against loitering kay tanan man tao ma-priso!

4. Kasagaran sa mga Pilipino pasagad lang ug panganak. Maskin wala nay halos gikaun magsige gihapong panganak.

5. Mahilig kaayo ta musaway ug koruption, pero kung naa gali i-process nga papers sa government offices, mangita dayon ta ug kinsay pwede mabayran or mangita ug kaila/amigo/paryente para madali.

6. Excited ta sa eleksyon kay naa tay madawat gikan sa mga vote buying.

7. Maskin sa trabaho kusog kaayo ang politiko. Sipsip, libak, grupo-grupo, backer, pabor-pabor.

8. Taas kaayo ato pagtahud sa mga amerikano ug uban foreigners. Mas paboran pa gali nato sila kaysa sa atong mga kababayan.

9. Kusog kaayo ta magdina-utay. Maayo lang unta kung diri ra sa ato nasud, maskin sa Dubai, US, etc... magdina-utay ang mga pinoy imbis nga magtinabangay.

10. Hadlok kaayo ta musumbong kung naa tay mabantayan nga anomaliya ug koruption. Ato na lang pasagdahan kay: "INGANA MAN GYUD NA."

Hahaay... Who's to blame that we have a government like this? We Filipinos deserve this government. We can't escape from it. Noynoy, if he stands true to his promise, might make a dent - even just a little. But our traits and culture are deeply embedded in our system and genes that we can't escape our own nature.

What "cancer" was Rizal talking about? Who, if it was a person, was he referring to? Did he refer to the Spaniards? Or to our culture?

A government especially one like ours is made mandated by the Filipino People under a supreme code of law which is the Constitution. The Constitution is the basis of this Constitutional Republic. We do deserve our government, we love our freedom, our rights and we accept our obligations as people of the Philippines so "we" deserve to have a Democratic Government.

Other nations had their, Chinese wanted the extreme democracy and equality so the have a Communist govenrment.

It is what the people were used to and loved that sets the base for they're governments.
