Bandslam is a movie that celebrates music. Its market base transcends from teen-agers to young “once” music enthusiasts. It gives a picture on the kind of thoughts a die-hard music fanatic can have. Having music as a passion can bring you to places. It can open doors to a dimension in life – a d you thought you’ll never go and you’ll never be. It heals and open up new friendships.
A lot of music/movie inspires you to go on. You’ll just have to say – I can’t go on - I’ll go on.

When I am swamped with work and I don’t have the peace of mind. I skipped writing. The creative juices and the motivation to write are no where to find – something like a writer’s block.

The light bulb moment came after watching Babe, I love you – the movie. I just realized that I’m working to sustain the family life that I have with my one and only great love.

Why should I be affected with the uncertainties of work – the complications of global competition? What you see is what you get and yes – I’m just a human being.

    That started my weekend right.

    Then everything went fantastically noteworthy.

I cooked for my husband’s birthday. Everybody seems to like my cooking. – hehehe
We talked about cars. He bought a Top Gear magazine – hmm. Another topic for conversation

We had a Friday, Saturday movie nights… and later – we’ll have a Sunday movie date with the kids.

Hmm – the great moment this weekend – we went to church in a Saturday night and had a talk with the family under the starry night.

Of course- we saw Joaqui training in a basketball clinic session.

We quite had a good life. Thank God.

With all these inspiration around me, I had posted a movie review - a sign that my writer’s block is over.

An inspiration is all I needed. Strive to have a peace of mind…. & to really have time with family and friends….

One tip I can give myself – turn-on the radio after logging-into the laptop. Browse through Istorya – General discussions , Blogs for more inspiration…

Do things with music as a companion…

Hope that the literary dryness will stay away from me and the feeling of being in-love will be my constant aura and disposition.

First day of school for the kids

Today is also the first day for the renewal of my commitment to read and write – to support my interests. This might mean waking up early - it's all worth it.

I decided to give time to my capability development in spite of the challenging responsibilities at work and at home.

There’s the decision also to allow my kids to grow and mind their own playing time – to give way to more personal time.

It is not always them during weekends – in order to fill-in the days I’m not work at weekdays.

    There is time for everything.

I decided to surround myself with Literature, General Information and Current events.

Without inspiration – you cannot create.

A little reminder can spark up moments – such as that moment when you decide to own what matters most – education.

I read a lot of articles online and watch many inspirational and informative videos in YouTube.

    Just like these ones:

    90 Seconds With … Socrates - World Cup 2010 - TIME.com

YouTube - Ghandi Speaks On Non-Violence

Default Teaching to inspire and nurture :D

As a working parent, you’ll strive to give your best to your children. Sad thing – you may not please everyone.

Bringing your kids to school on their first day will definitely be memorable to the kids. This may mean though – arriving to the office at a time which would not be as early as usual.

Someday, they will notice not just the mediocrity. You are giving your best to be the best both at home and at work.

We just have to change the perspective.

    On being a good teacher

If you missed to inspire, you are not teaching. You will lose students.

    It’s ok to change.

Losing a student is a reflection on the change that the bad teacher has to make. His technique does not work.

I hope someday they’ll realize the need to inspire in order to teach.

It’s not always about pain. Pain begets pain.

Love begets love. It’s great to show love in order to nurture and to avoid inflicting pain.
Love begets love. The world will be a great place to work with Love and Inspiration.

Here’s a movie – which shows the difference between the good teachers from the bad.

    BLACKOUT

6:12PM. I was with my compact computer, listening to Iron & Wine and playing Plants VS Zombies. My family was outside my room's door and doing what they have to do. And then there's this blackout. They all got outside to talk with some friendly neighbors who, too, happen to be outside of their territories to have the same purpose of chitchatting with whomsoever is out there in the sidewalk. I was left in my room and my computer was still intact with power from its battery. But, I don't know, I left the game and lie like that in the field with the sight of the star farm in the sky but there is nothing but the ceiling and the memories of this person I know. Well, the music was really not in coordination with this somewhat romantic emotion (duh) but the person's face brings melody inside of me and I could not compose whatever message that song maybe bringing.

7:47PM. The electricity was back in the wires of this squatter's area again. I was glad because my baby sisters could watch their favorite show on TV. Well, I need to get up, too, to prepare for work. And the thoughts fade like my body dust in the shower. I must face the reality that thoughts could be all what I can possess. When I arrive in the office, there's that person that had stolen one of my silent moments, looking at me and making this day more harder than ever.

    Default Reading for Happiness :D

I decide to be happy. To hope is a wonderful gift. To always stay hungry, stay foolish – as Steve Jobs has advised; are two wonderful phrases to consider.

Expanding one’s horizon makes life a big playground to conquer. It’s amazingly motivating too. It pursuades you to always put excellence in your work.

You need your work to pay the bills and to fund a personal time to learn as much as possible.

Reading is indeed powerful. Each time devoted to reading is a luxury you deserve. You’re worth it.

Yesterday – I’ve learn the power of including the name of your colleagues into the everyday interactions.

Reading for life: Reading for happiness
