How did the concept (or idea) of God change your life?

Sharing just a bit of my experience. I'd gone from atheist to a believer. I know what it's like to be on either sides. I say that being an atheist gave me a sense of freedom. Freedom that I don't need to depend on a higher power to live my life happily. I also hated the scandals arising in my church. Sauna, I despised the thought of believing in God because I see that it's doing more harm than good to the world.

But as I went through a series of very difficult points in my life. I was so stressed to the point na no one could really help me and I could not control the situation myself. I was lost and needed to find myself, and instead I found God. I did what I could and everything else I surrendered to God. The transition wasn't easy though. The support system, my way of thinking, my attitude towards things. But when you hit that brick wall, the one where there's no where to go, you'l know.

I felt free when I was an atheist but I realized that I was also miserable in someway. I'm always trying to prove something, I always try to over-analyze things and find an explanation to everything. Until I realize that it's just bigger than me. I realize that faith is not bad but the misconception of faith.

Mao na I respect everyone's opinion about God. As long as you're not stepping on anyone.

I thought I heard this saying... "It's rude to talk about religion, you never know who you're gonna hurt."

the concept (idea) about God means a lot to me.. even for all of us, but others may just don't figure it out.. one concrete example is that, God teaches us what is Good and what is Bad.. does people say that ur doin the right thing or not? i dont think so.. but rather people can interpret that ur doing Good or Bad by means of the teachings from God alone..

maybe this words would settle the idea about God.
