How to NOT drain your car battery when parked for a few weeks?

    Background:
I'll be away from home for at least a month and my car will be parked for that whole duration.
Dako chance nga madrain ako battery ani kay equiped man ug car alarm plus naa pajud na car electronics nga cge ON. Although gamay ra consumption sa battery ani, eventually modrain rajud ang battery if park dugay esp if karaan nasad imo battery ug di na maau ang condition.

    Suggestions:
car electronics like car computer ug time settings sa imo car sterio

totally mosettle down.

    Question:
    1) enough na ba ni ang twice a week paandar sa sakyanan for 30mins?

regularly change your vehicle's oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid as stated in the owner's manual. regularly check the radiator water level along with its auxilliary water supply and replenish if necessary. regularly wash and clean your vehicle too (dry it immediately after washing). that will prolong the life of the vehicle's paint finish and the immediate drying after the wash also prevents the metal structures from being rusted.

love your vehicle by being faithful on the maintenance and believe me, your vehicle will love you back.

Better charge full your battery before traveling.
Just leave your car alarm system up and running. It won't drain your battery that easy than a leaky capacitor.

For engine oil/lubrication concern, no need to run the engine twice a week for 30minutes (it's a waste of time and fuel). Have some GTO engine oil for your engine, get it from DAJ. GTO will surely protect your engine internal parts nga naay oil bisan dugay nga panahon wala gigamit. Nindot pud ma treat nimo ang imong water sa radiator with rust converter (250ml will do, Island brand). Make sure after adding the rust converter, imong paandaron nga mo trigger na ang radiator fan, meaning mi circulate na ang water. This will stop any ongoing oxidation sa tanang giagian sa tubig labi na sa head gasket nga part nga maoy dali mabuslot sa taya.

By the time you arrived gikan dugay nga pag byahe, check your battery with a volt meter (multitester set to DC V). Better charge it again kung low level na before using it to start the car. This way, gamay ra nga electricity imong magasto ug di ra ma bun-og imong battery. Ang car battery nako ma charged ra man sya ug 15minutes, 1Adraw nalang from the charger kung puno na.

It is also better to have visual check-up sa tanang parts nga makita nimo sa engine bay before mag start sa engine. Nindot pud ma check ang ilawom sa car, kung naay oil or any liquid droppings, very possible naay leaking either oil, fuel or water.
