You may need to set a static IP address on your computer first before you can access the web config... (you know how to do that right?)

computer IP: 192.168.1.33
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 192.168.1.1

save settings and reboot...

after restarting, on your web browser type 192.168.1.1

Username: admin
Password: 1234

then follow the screenshots to guide you...

go to Network / WAN / Internet Connection TAB

metro-cebu area

Mode: Routing
Encapsulation: ENET ENCAP
Multiplexing: LLC
VPI: 0
VCI: 100

provincial area

Mode: Routing
Encapsulation: ENET ENCAP
Multiplexing: LLC
VPI: 0
VCI: 35

then click Obtain an IP Address Automatically

click Apply

if unsure about your VPI/VCI settings in your area, call 172 and ask...

go to Network / LAN / IP TAB

IP Address: 192.168.1.1
IP Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

click Apply

go to Network / LAN / DHCP Setup TAB

DHCP: Server
IP Pool Starting Address: 192.168.1.2
Pool Size: 32

click Apply

################################################## ################
################################################## ################

go to Network / NAT / General TAB

check Active Network Translation (NAT)
check SUA Only

click Apply

go to Maintenance / Tools / Restart TAB

then restart to make the new configuration take effect...

above values are just an example, you could set your own values like in IP starting address and pool size, etc...

after this, you can change your computer back to Dynamic IP Address if you like...

above screenshots were taken from a working connection... that means if it doesn't work for you, it's either you are doing something wrong or you didn't follow the guide completely...

if it doesn't work out, try hard resetting your modem, hold the reset switch at the back of your modem for a few seconds then try following the guide again...

pls lang ayaw i-mislead ng mga tawo kay in the first place, a single public ip nga gihatag sa pldt can be shared by many private users, that's NAT function and dugay na kaau na technology-ha. what u are subscribing is the internet connection and bandwidth. way problema bisan pila pa kabook pc mag-share but ayaw lang reklamo nga mohinay ang connection. furthermore, gi-tuyo na sa telco company kay aron di mahago ang modem kay duha naman iya function unya, modem na, router pa jud. besides mura na ka ug nag-tamper ana. But again, way problema na bisan maguba, ilisan gihapon na as long w/in warranty period pa.

suggestion lng pud, u can buy a wireless router, hav it configure for dhcp and also ur computers or laptops.. connect d pldt ethernet port to d WAN interface of the wireless router.. naa mn jud n xa ports for LAN, so if nahan m cable.. u can directly connect it to d router or u can just use d wireless connection.. WIFI hotspot nka, jst make sure to secure ur connection pud hehe.. if gamay r sd n imung pc, use a normal hub lng.. less expenses, den configure ur PCs for DHCP pra maka.connect sila sah net.. suggestion lng pud ni hehe..
