ok ra man.. pero mas ok mag AVR kay in case of power surge, una mo piti ang fuse sa AVR.

Don't take chances bai.. If possible, protectionan jud na nimo ang imohang PC.. Even cheap AVR's can give your PC some degree of protection especially sa mga over-current ug surge..

mas maayo naa bro avr, bahala baratohon basta stable lang pud output. kuwang ra man gani bisan naa ka AVR to protect u from possible unstable power conditions, unsa nalang kaha ug wala.

06-10-2010, 05:30 PM #9i would still disagree na walay lain sort of protection in between sa main power and sa cpu bisan pa ug unsa ka branded. i would rather give my equiptment precious clean and stable source rather than it doin the job and be the target of such abnormalities sa power... the more mahal it is, the more i would protect my investment. branded PSU has far more better protections than below 500 pesos AVR... cheap AVR's are just like power strips in my opinion, just add the step down 110 transformer along with it.. hehehe!
i think you are suggesting a good brand of AVR pod here... could be a servo type with surge protection and other protection systems.
