Mar Roxas: Count NULL Votes (in my favor)

According to today's news, the camp of Mar Roxas is insisting that null votes be counted (presumably in his favor):

What does everyone think of Mar Roxas latest demands? I think this just proves that Mar Roxas deserves to lose because he lacks ethics and maturity. As the Comelec so plainly put, "You can't count votes that are not there." It does not get any simpler than that. Even a child would understand, but apparently not the desperate Mar Roxas.

To steal from a popular Tommy Osmena acronym, Mar Roxas is just SRP (Suya Ra ang Pildi). This is sourgraping in its worst form, another case to add to the many losing congressional candidates, except in this case the candidate is running for the Vice-Presidency and ought to have more class and decency than that.

A null vote means the voter did not vote for the position, why does Mar Roxas insist in counting votes that aren't there? Is he assuming that a non-vote is a vote for him? Wow, and here I thought he was for democracy!

Matud pa nila, ang kadaghanan sa NULL votes naa man daw sa "Roxas bailiwicks" so logically daw, kung ang counted votes 40% kang Roxas, 20% kang Binay, ang mga null votes, i-assume lang nga 40% sad kang Roxas, 20% kang Binay. At least that's what I gather from their reasoning in the article. To me it seems like they want to make magic-magic.. to make a NULL into a Roxas. Maybe it's because Roxas=NULL (minded).
