informal education versus formal education..

there are some people who have no college degrees that are more brilliant than those who have them...

as for speaking english... tungod na sa pagiging colony nato sa US.. pero daghna man country dili k-ma mu-english maayo ra man gihapon..
basin kana ang kahinanaglan dili lang ta mag-english.. mag french lang ta.. or spanish...

I agree. Having not formally educated does not necessarily presuppose incapacity to lead. It just simply happened that most of the uneducated individuals do not have the luck and/or opportunity to lead.

Remember George Washington for instance. He was only formally educated up to eleven years old. He was a great leader.

From personal experience I would conclude that leadership is a combination of traits, qualities and abilities possessed by an individual, backed up with action, that followers respond to in a positive and productive manner. An untrained, uneducated leader leads in a manner that they perceive to work best based on personal preference and past experiences.

How can an uneducated man be a bad influence to another man? I am sad. The forerunners of the Constitution must have been piously reflecting over such provision that sets the qualifications of Senatorial Candidates.

well, i didn't vote the first three. only sotto.

most of my senatorial lineup are unknown to most people, usually the ones considered activist because they serve as check and balance to the government, like yin and yang. for me, that's what matters, an admin party and an opposition party serving as check and balance, not fighting.

Noynoy is not uneducated... just an underachiever so far. I do hope he has something up his sleeve that will surprise his fiercest critics though.
