Exponentiation...any number raised to the power of One is Itself and then any number raised to the power of Zero is One.

“(Zero)...a fine and wonderful refuge of the divine spirit – almost an amphibian between being and non-being.”
    — Gottfried Leibniz

    LOL!

Mathematics itself is amazing..and fun too..here's one, the no.9 [posted this already on another thread but WTH]

the number 9...the highest single digit number..
also, 9 has this unique property of "showing" up unexpectedly..hehehe

9 multiplied to any number, the sum of the answer would still be 9..

    WTH..an example would explain..

    9 x 1 = 9
    9 x 6 = 54, 5 + 4 = 9
    9 x 17 = 153, 1 + 5 + 3 = 9
    9 x 84 = 756, 7 + 5 + 6 = 18, 1 + 8 = 9

don't know 'bout you, it may seem senseless to others but it amazes me..that's what MATH is to me..
