For the guys that disses boss dirt? dude wake up dirt pedals will only shine if you have the fingers, proper amp and guitar good P.U, if you can't sound good on a DS-1 pedal then probably you're playing is CRAP..I really can't stand people dissing BOSS..there a descent pedal. as an example Steve Vai and Joe Sat uses DS-1,Cobain uses DS-1 And DS-2, Furciante keeps his DS-2. They can be a bit nassal and its part of their character but sure they can deliver the dirt..Cannibal Corpse can have those ENGL and the Boogies but 4 the info. those guys uses STOCK MT-2 one time or another how about that.. the problem is a lot of guys doesnt' really understand how to use a dist. Using a hard rock designed dirt for metal is total crap and so is the other way around..Local Band Fast pitch guitarist uses an MT-2 Im not a big fan of them but their guitarist really knows how to tame the mt-2. Naa rajud na sa pag timpla.. After all tone is a subjective matter to everyone...Buttom line is BOSTON and BOSS dirt pedals will do the job if you know the how's...I totally agree that boss is an ace when it comes to modulation and delays.. That's what there known for from the very start, with their dd-2 and the CE-2 and if you have them then you're keeping a jewel. AND YEAH as of now I'm gunning for the EMA PISDIYAUWOT or the the BlackSTAR DistX .. Para maiba napud...
