it's because of simple arrogance on the part of Noynoy. dili niya dawaton kay gusto cya gyud...the motives? IT'S POSSIBLY ALL ABOUT HACIENDA LUISITA. It has never been about Gloria escaping (alleged) corruption by appointing Corona. His appointment went thru the proper procedures and cannot be labeled as a midnight appointment. c Justice Puno mo retire at age 70 on May 17. And whether layo pa, duol, or bag-o lang nahuman ang election, kinanglan pulihan gyud by appointment by a sitting president. Period.

gatuo man gud mo nga politics is all black and white. Gloria vs. Noynoy. But in reality there are many gray areas.

on your statement that PGMA will escape corruption, you are already assuming that she is already guilty of the crimes that were still, up to now, allegations. Her enemies wanted people like you to hold that prejudgmental thought (or anger) because to them they can make an allegation look like one is already guilty...look what they did to Villar. need I say more? C-5? c'mon, that's just politicking by Villar's rivals. what should be investigated is the SCTEX and the 2 questionable transactions that the farmers only got 3% proceeds instead of 33%...unfortunately, wala na kontrobersyal. thanks to the biased media.

Remember, the family wealth depends on Noynoy's Presidency. A hostile SC justice could mean the Hacienda Luisita case will favor the poor farmers whose rights over the land are long overdue. A friendly SC justice means the family can keep their Hacienda Luisita.

BusinessWorld columnist Rene Azurin is convinced that Aquino’s bid for the presidency is fueled by nothing else but his family’s resolve to keep Hacienda Luisita.

“It is reasonable to believe that Noynoy Aquino’s presidential campaign is really only about land, about a last-ditch attempt of his family to hang on to their pelf and power,” he said in a commentary.

Citing the mounting debts of the hacienda, Azurin added, “Bottom line: if he does not become president, the family will lose their wealth and power.”

so you see, attempting to assume Corona's appointment as only to protect Gloria and her alleged sins, is not a good argument. Besides, as congressman and even as Speaker, PGMA has no immunity from suit. and SC decisions can be questioned.

What is a better argument could be that the Aquinos and Cojuangcos are afraid that SC Corona will favor the HL farmers...so they are moving high heaven and earth nga c Noynoy gyud ang mo appoint...

Ako pa ni NOYNOY pa impeach na lang siya. Then si GMA as speaker maoy mo take over as per costitution. Senate majority + Congress+ SC, well GMA will emerge who will then lingkod...Ok? Happy na ta balik?...goodluck guys.

mas taphaw na diay ang real and factual issues of Hacienda Luisita kaysa kanang conspiracy theory nimo about "GMA I shall return"? toinks!

sa hacienda Luisita pre, gamay ra nga bolang kristal kinanglan to connect the dots. sa imohang conspiracy theory, kinanglan dako2x gyud pareha kadako sa planggana!

    here's an article about it:

    http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/05...noy-presidency

and to debunk your conspiracy theory:

'Arroyo not interested in House Speakership'

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is not interested in running for the Speakership of the 15th Congress, according to a Lakas-Kampi member who attended a party meeting Thursday...

    full article:
    http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/05...se-speakership

besides, kung c PGMA mo run gyud as House Speaker, dili ra cya but 7 sila kabuok...what are the odds for her winning? I say kinanglan gihapon ug dako nga bolang kristal...

Difference between the appointment of Corona and Noynoy:

    Noynoy:
    -by the people

    Corona:
    -by PGMA
-midnight appointment / needed SC ruling to "reverse" the rules from our constitution

@giddy : i didnt said na guilty gyud si PGMA , thats why i place a question mark ( escape corruption? ), innocent until proven guilty nga. agree wala na gyud immunity si PGMA once ni step down na siya as president. kahit kinsa pa ma CJ it doesnt matter for her.

this appointment of Corona is really of Noynoy concern only, iya ra gyud interest ni. whether may connection ni sa luisita or others, time will tell. na post nasad nako yung connection sa luisita and CJ appointment. di nalang sa ko mo elaborate kaau, anyway its all over the net
