highest position for executive is president, for legislative its senate president (higher) & speaker of the house (lower), for judicial its CJ, importante na nga position cause its the highest sa judicial branch..

kung mo ingon ka ok ra for 1 month wla CJ then ok raba kaha walay president ang phils. for 1 month? these three branches of the government are equally important btw...

bro, actually the other justices of SC can select an acting CJ which will temporarily lead the SC while awaiting the appointment of a new permanent CJ... and that is within 90 days from the date of vacancy.

it's not unconstitutional if Noynoy appoints a CJ ky ng agad raman na cya sa JBC. ang pasabot ana ni Enrile nga dli ka appoint ug CJ c Noy2x ky "if they will follow the logic" wlay daw JBC nga mo create sa list of nominees for CJ ky wla daw new CJ nga maoy mo act as head sa JBC... but i've read from a reliable source that actually, the other justices in the SC can select an acting CJ which in turn can sit as head of JBC which in turn can create a list of nominees for a new CJ which in turn can be the basis for Noynoy's choice of CJ. So in short, pwde ra diay maka pili c Noy2x ug CJ, not the other way around.

mao man pud ang point ni Gibo actually but did not elaborate kaau. intact gihapon ang mga justices they can decide for themselves. but again nag-decide naman gyud cla and nag-submit na ang list, politicking man gyud kung mag-delay2x sila considering independent branch of government cla and there must always be a CJ. i dont know how doable yung acting CJ would be but as you said pwede but why did the SC didnt allowed it. maybe pud di ka screen ang JBC for noynoy to pick kung acting CJ ra ang mo head. it has never been done before but its for those people to decide while im just explaining the news and airing my opinion here.
