In its 2004 Global Corruption Report, #10 sa corruption c Erap sa tibuok kalibotan. Transparency International said Estrada allegedly stole an estimated $78 to $80 million in the 3 years that he was President. (in million US dollars ha)

While na acquit ang perjury charges, sa plunder case siya natagak.

The Sandiganbayan, ruled that former President Estrada is guilty of Plunder. The forfeited or confiscated properties are:

(1) The total amt of P545,291,000.00, w/ interest and income earned, inclusive of the amt of P200,000,000.00, deposited in the name and account of the Erap Muslim Youth Foundation.

(2) The amt of P189,000,000.00, inclusive of interests and income earned, deposited in the Jose Velarde account.

(3) The real property consisting of a house and lot dubbed as “Boracay Mansion” located at #100 11th Street, New Manila, QC.

Now it will then be a matter between facts against opinion/belief. Many people still believe, even if the facts are known to them, that Erap was not guilty. Heck, many people even believe that Ferdie Marcos wassn't guilty...

Jose Velarde was proven to be owned by Erap, while Jose Pidal wasn't. Proven gani, naay ebidencya beyond reasonable doubt na cya.

but then again, as i've said before, it will then be a matter of facts against one's belief/opinion. if your opinion says kang GMA or FG gyud tong Jose Pidal, aw wa natay mahims ana...
