    simple... they are paid by a foreign client... if i.compare ni didto sa rates nila wala pa ni kaabot ug 1/4 ang sweldo sa call center agent nato diri mao diri sila mag.tukod para ang rates diri pud basehan

    ang dako nga sweldo kana 30, 40k above per month. im a cca but i cant even buy a new shoes and the pants im wearing is like 5 years na. pag 1st year college pa nako. ang mga tao pataka lang jud ug pasagad

    mas prone sila sa mga sakit?? i believe you are wrong mam.. health workers like doctors, nurses, etc are more prone to diseases. hospitals are "like" breeding grounds for bacterias and viruses.

    mas delikado magwork kung night shift?? day shift and night shift are the same. you'll never know what's gonna hit you day or night.

    i dont get the point of this thread...how is it unfair? because dako sweldo? everyone is given equal chances to apply man..if u think sayun ang work and more ang pay kaysa sa inyo sweldo..... hala pamalhin mo...yaw nang mo bash mug ubang profession just because dli mo contented sa inyong jobs...

    ok let me explain this in laymans terms....

    naay duha ka maid..si maid a ug si maid b....si maid a kay naka tiwas ug high-school...naka trabaho sa usa ka pamilya 22 ang anak...siya ang tagalaba, taglimpyo, tagbantay sa mga bata....2k iya sweldo

    si maid b hantud grade 3 ra iya na abot...naka trabaho sa rich na family...usa ra anak...yaya siya...tig hatod kuha ra sa ila school iya responsibility naa pa gyud auto...10k iya sweldo

    do u think its unfair? ofcourse not...sweldo depends on the employer and not the job description...if u think the work is not worth the pay why apply diba? stupid ra gyud kaayo na notion....ka weird

    health.. mas modako jud tungod sa benefits.. dli bya lalim mo work ug graveyard.. tsk tsk tsk...

    its worth the pay jud sa mga call center agents...

    kanang storya na stressed kaayo ang call center job - it's all in the lifestyle.. i've been working in the BPO industry for 3 years plus na wala pako nahospitalized ever - buyag tawn! sayang lagi akong insurance wa jud nako nagamit pa.. haha!

    Its not only speaking ENGLISH that call centers are good for. There are people who are really dumb but can speak good english like people who speak english in jeepneys and elevators. They are the people who are responsible that make call center agents look Over Acting. But all in all I have been to this O.A. company the scope of their support meaning their job is very unchallenging and simple. Their real job is social climbing without any substance to their real job.

    WIth my current center job its challenging all day long you solve problems more on technically rather than situational like customer service.
    I love solving technical problems, this is a call center agents real job is to solve technical problems and customer service, social climbers are the dumb ones. Believe me because these types of agents don't enjoy their real job that is why its very stressful for them they either lack skill and analytical problem solving skills thats why they got scolded a lot by customers for being incompetent thats why they vent out a lot on their lifestyles like social climbing and showing off keeps their cool down.

    That's a rather gereralized statement, Kenshiro. In defense of those agents who are not tech support: not all of them are "social climbers and dumb ones". There are also really good agents in CS who don't stress out over their job. On another note there are also tech support agents who aren't really good at what they do, so "they got scolded a lot by customers for being incompetent". This could also cause stress and they'll "vent out a lot on their lifestyles like social climbing and showing off".
