Gordon is an arrogant as)(* though. Nobody wants an arrogant as*() who keeps whining on TV to be President. If I wanted a whiney homo to be president I'll vote Noynoy, not Gordon.

gordon's arrogance is still palatable to me. he's arrogance has been compared to tomas which is valid though i think tomas' arrogance is easily digestible than gordon's. gordon is my #2 btw.

the arrogance of some of his supporters however, now that's entirely a different story. gibo supporters have been maligned by noynoy supporters for the "galing at talino" slogan because somehow they think it's offensive. well it's just a slogan like countless others (we do chicken right, etc), it insinuates but does not claim. now some gordon supporters doesn't just insinuate they claim things as fact. like voting for anyone other done gordon is being misinformed. sometimes going as far as saying it's stupid to vote for anyone other than gordon. like their choice is the only right choice. like they're the only one doing their homework. everyone else is either being blind or being stupid. i could almost imagine their hands going out of the internet wanting to shake every voter awake.

and so i wanna tell them, i am awake. i'm wide awake. i just don't share your sentiments. that shouldn't be hard to understand, is it? why be so righteous?

‘Gibo’ to TUCP: Thank you

Lakas-Kampi-CMD standard-bearer Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. Wednesday expressed his appreciation to the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP), considered the country’s largest national trade union organization with over one million members, for endorsing his presidential bid.

“I am humbled by their declaration of support, which is not just an endorsement of my presidential bid but a collective support for a roadmap for genuine change and sustainable growth and development that the next Administration has to carry out with the backing of the various sectors,” Teodoro said in a statement.

The former defense chief said TUCP and the other party-list groups deserve to be represented in Congress to ensure that all sectors, most especially the marginalized ones, are adequately heard as the next government seeks a national consensus behind such a roadmap for change and development.

The TUCP is one of the 19 party-list groups that expressed full support for Teodoro via a manifesto that they public released in a news conference in Quezon City the other day.

Teodoro, a bar topnotcher and a Harvard trained lawyer, got the admiration of the TUCP officials led by Democrito Mendoza when he attended the labor organization’s presidential forum a few months ago at Marriot Hotel in Pasay City where he laid out his impressive program designed to improve the plight of the labor sector.

Aside from TUCP, the party-list organizations that signed the manifesto were: AT (Aangat Tayo), ANAD (Alliance for Nationalism and Democracy), Senior Citizens, Ang Kasangga, BANAT (Barangay Association for National Advancement and Transparency), KAKUSA (Kapatiran ng mga Nakulong Na Walang Sala), ABAKADA-Guro, ARC (Alliance for Rural Concerns) and ABS (Arts, Business and Science Professionals).

The pro-Gibo manifesto was also signed by UNI-MAD (United Movement Against Drugs), 1 Utak (1-United Transport Koalisyon), YACAP (You Against Corruption And Poverty), ALAGAD, COOP-NATCCO (Cooperatives-National Confederation of Cooperatives), VFP (Veterans Freedom Party), AA-KASOSYO, and ALIF (Ang Laban ng Indiginong Filipino).

In the Manifesto of Support, the party-list representatives said they “believed in Gibo’s vision for the country and the Filipino people, and are willing to support him for the realization of his vision.” They said the former defense secretary possesses the qualities that “we are looking for in a leader to lead us through this nightmare of life.”

So is murder in the name of honor, slavery, and piracy under strict Islamic law. Everything is relative.

LoL unfortunately the Bible is objective on it's stand on prostitution and as far as our own laws are concerned prostitution besides being illegal and punishable is also deemed immoral.

In the context of Philippine culture, customs, tradition, and law prostitution is immoral.

Dick Gordon did little to avert prostitution in his hometown in fact there is little doubt that he himself benefited from the flesh trade.

Really who died and made you expert on the Bible? I can't comment on the Koran and what it sanctions, maybe it is a system that works for them who are we to judge? And whats with your obsession with prostitutes in Olongapo city? Wurag kitang tanan lalake nakatilaw naman tingali ana. So what's it to you that they are prostitutes? Basig suyaay lang ni? I'm no fan of Gordon but I'm no fan of hypocritical moralists either, like the priests who tell their flock to save their virginity while they rape boys and girls.
