anyway White Knight is really a big disappointment..graphics are horrid! kinda like a PS2 game. battle system/style is very time consuming--you have to wait for cooldowns in order to attack and it's no use running around the field since the enemies can hit you pretty much anywhere. the only cool thing about is the online play which you can do online only quests and build a town of your own.

played for 2 hours and i stopped..i should have waited for Star Ocean.

    PS3 JRpgs/Rpg Suggestions:

    Valkyria Chronicles
    Eternal Sonata
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
    Final Fantasy XIII

Whoever you are, please ignore those terrible reviews! PLEASE!

This is one PS3-exclusive game that is not worth waiting for.

Some of my Japanophile friends living at Barangay Sambag 1 went crazy when WKC was first unveiled. They literally drooled over it and started praying that the PS3 games will be pirated so that they can get WKC in the cheapest way possible.

I don't know if they're still drooling over WKC now that it received disappointing reviews from the critics and gamers.

atleast WKC has the fantasy feel and more tedious and difficult compared to the new JRPGS which has been labeled "Too Easy" by many.

anyway i'll give WKC a shot..i'm at the part where you get to meet Princess Cisna.

i hope there's a patch/update to bring back the Original Japanese Voices.

    RPGamer.com review of WKC

Considering how long the first White Knight took to make it to North America, who knows when (or if) White Knight Chronicles 2 will make it. There are clearly some issues with the game. The pacing of combat and dungeons is too slow at times. The story is cliché, saved only by interesting characters. The interface needs fine-tuning, and the game needs to be free of bugs. The game's online questing interface could use some tweaks to make it more accessible for those looking for a quick online adventure. Despite the problems I had with the game, it still had a certain appeal and charm at moments that made me want to play more. I would actually be very interested to see if Level-5 could do some major changes for part two of this adventure; however, my fears are a quick turnaround for the second game using the same foundation already in place for part one. This foundation is shaky at best, so White Knight Chronicles needs some work.

All that hard work for 2.5/5 score from RPGamer on their review?!

What do you think of WKC's character creation/customization?

Given Level-5’s pedigree with great titles like Dragon Quest VIII, Dark Cloud, and Jeanne D’Arc, White Knight Chronicles is a lukewarm effort from a developer that has done role-playing much better in the past. While their games aren’t always revolutionary, you can depend on them to feel unified and to nail the play and the plot. White Knight Chronicles doesn’t come close to capturing the triumphant hybridization and game-changing challenge we saw recently in games like Demon’s Souls. No, this game is too steeped in classic role-playing tropes to be that interesting. All of the game’s adherence to the JRPG scripture would be fine if the proceedings were imbued with even an ounce of originality. However, the game’s bland characters, world and plot betray an inherent cowardice. White Knight Chronicles has nothing new to say, so it hides within the spreadsheets and mechanics of role-play. It’s easy to get lost within those dungeons, becoming wrapped up in the grind of conquest and the diversions of crafting. Sometimes that kind of RPG busy work is more than enough to keep questers questing. In White Knight Chronicles, it’s just barely enough.

I think WKC is good enough for those who want RPG games. I have some issues with the battle system where you get hit even though your far away from the enemy.
