When using a digital camera then posting the photo on the web, di gyud na kalikayan moagi ka ug photo alterations/post processing or whatever you call it labi na kung mo require ka ug pixel dimension. The transition from the camera sensor to the final jpeg file have already gone several alteration of information as seen by the camera. Example of post processing is sampling/resizing, sharpening and saving the file to jpeg format which do a lot of information removal as a result of the compression algorithm in making the final output.

It would be nice to present the photo based on their content or the information you want to convey and not on how they are represented. Keeping your photo simple all the time will convey the message straight to the viewers heart.

ok ra post-processing if u mean making ur photos convenient enough for posting or uploading it in the internet or some photobased webportals---slight adjustment sa pixel size or filesize
OR conversion from RAW files to JPG
BUT NOT altering how it was actually captured or shot on cam---dodge/burn, masking, cloning... etc.

the only "post-processing" done here was converting it from RAW format to JPG
so mga modes feel free to delete this if this is not deemed "straight from the cam"

diba bati man ang RAW if you just convert it to JPEG right away without doing some adjustments? I thought people shoot in RAW so they can keep as much of the data as possible so they can "play" with it later during post processing.

so for this thread, I recommend you shoot in jpeg only. that way at least your camera can add more "life" to your photo before you download it out of your camera/memory card. title says straight from camera right? so having the adjustments done inside camera is not cheating.

Post ta diri mga pix kanang wala ni agi ug PP (post processing). Pure jud straight from the cam

they shoot raw so if ever they wanna do some postprocessing not much data or details can be lost
    than postprocessing the jpeg format

and also if ever they want to keep the highest attainable quality of the camera in use

mine I just resized and save as JPG in this case
