We just had our team building yesterday (04/27) in one of the resorts in Mactan and since their family room for 6 persons (but the room is quite big jud can actually fit around 10 persons) was affordable (6,ooo w/ breakfast & discover scuba & of course use of amenities) and we can bring food as long as we eat it inside the room we opted for the place. We actually got 3 family rooms since we were only about 20 so yeko rajud , wa ra sad jud me nag huot inside the rooms. we actually arrived there almost 5 na since our shift ends at 2PM. actually we were separated into 2 batches, ni apas ra ang 11am-8pm shift. now when the 2nd batch arrived sa resort almost 10pm, hapit sila wa pasudla coz ang "visitors" daw ky til 8pm ra (naa ni excess na 3 persons rajud!). to think we got 3 family rooms na gani!! but then their f***** receptionist OA au as in. we had to negotiate pa with them to at least let the excess of 3 persons stay until AROUND 11pm lng just so they can eat (g.ihap jud daw me nila!! ang other well known resorts d mn gani mubother ug count). so ila nlng g.allow as long as the excess persons will be out by 11. but then katong excess na 2 11:30pm na nkagawas. and because wa sila kagawas by 11 mismo they CHARGED EXTRA PERSON FEE OF 900/PERSON (EXTRa person charge for overnight stay) DAUN!! COME TO THINK OF IT THOSE 2 EXCESS PERSONS ARRIVED ALMOST 10 NA!! AND THEY STAYED LESS THAN 2 HOURS! THEY DIDN'T USE THE AMENITIES OF THE RESORT, THEY JUST STAYED INSIDE THE ROOM AND ATE! SO FOR THE LESS THAN 2 HOURS THAT THEY STAYED, THEY CHARGED US ALREADY W/ 900/PERSON!!! talked w/ their general manager when we checked out, d sad jud xa musugot na i.waive nlng!! PLUS BASTOS PAJUD AU ANG MGA GUARDS! THEY WILL LIKE STARE AT YOU LIKE YOU'RE SOME CRIMINAL! (we were all in fact professionals in the medical field) NI GOOD EVENING O GOOD AFTERNOON D SILA KABAW MUSTORYA! THEY WILL LIKE JUST STARE AT YOU!! is that good customer service??!!! when we even had our games at night they kept on going near our rooms ky naa daw guest na nireklamu that we were noisy BUT when asked kinsa na guest ang nireklamu they can't even identify which room the guest stayed!!! so overall VERY TRAUMATIC ANG EXPERIENCE and their CUSTOMER SERVICE TOTALLY SUCKS!!! AND BY THE WAY THEIR BREAKFAST isn't worth it. .
ANOTHER THING WHEN WE ARRIVED IN THE RESORT THE VERY FIRST THING I NOTICED KY ANG DRIED LEAVES ON THE GROUNDS IF WA ME NAABOT D NALANG SAD JUD TINGALI SILA MUBOTHER UG CLEAN. THE PLACE WAS A TOTAL MESS!MURA UG GI.AGIAN UG BAGYO

THE NAME OF THE RESORT IS PACIFIC CEBU RESORT LOCATED SOMEWHERE IN MACTAN.
SO HEADS UP TO ALL FELLOW CEBUANOS, PLEASE DON'T EVEN BOTHER GOING THERE COZ THEY WILL JUST TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH, THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO VALUE THEIR CLIENTS. THEIR M*****F***** GENERAL MANAGER ALSO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TREAT HIS CLIENTS PARA MAGANAHAN SAD UNTA MUBALIK ANG NAKATRY NA NGADTO!!

PLEASE SPREAD THIS QUITE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE TO YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES PARA WA NAJUD MA BIKTIMA ANI NGA RESORT!!!!!!

    HOPE THIS RESORT WILL CLOSE!!!!

Sis, if i may so boldy have my comment on this:

    1. so what's new? most if not all public establishments sa metro and around the city has lousy customer service. unlike then, these new breed of young workers have not been "desensitized" if you what i mean. kai sa panahon karon, its customers against employees man. imbes manager labanan ang customer, ang customer maoy pangitaan ug sayop kai lagi sa panahon karon tanan employees kai "BINARKADA" kaayo ug friendship.

    2. you have to admit also na sa part nimo daghan sad dyud kag sayop, based lang sa imo narrative and litanya (peace, hehehehe). siyempre, it pays man sad to be "NOSY", meaning a person who has a lot questions, you could have asked the staff of the resort in advance if there's any specific limit dyud sa number of persons, if naay curfew, or if naay certain rules and regulations that must be followed so that you wouldn't have been shocked unta to have encountered such.

    3. other people don't think and act like you. every person is himself. so if naa ka specific things you want to have or if naa ka queries, you can always ask in advance.

that's about it. pero i so totally agreed sa imo na sa recent lang gyud, i had my fair share of those experiences as inefficient and bastos na service from employees of establishments that are not limited to what you have experienced. but human as we are, we are entitled to our feelings of anger.

you have to understand mam nga ang receptionist, guards ug general manager... they are all just employees, naa ra nag mandar ana nila to follow strict rules and guidelines. dili na sila maka buot ug hatag basta2 lang ug consideration, they have to ask permission pa pod sa upper management or the owner. siguro mahadlok pod sila mawad-an ug trabaho if ever gi allow nila inyo request. dili napod siguro sila katawag sa owner para mananghid kay 10pm naman kaha to sa gabii. so wala jud sila choice but to implement the rules.

dili man sa pandaot, pero naanad nalang siguro ta mga pinoy ug kanang mga "palugit/hangyo" style ba... mupalit ta ug sud-an, mangayo ta ug pakapin, palit ta ug prutas, mangayo ta ug pakapin... madakpan ta ug pulis, makig negotiate gyud ta... nakabutang na nga "fixed" price, mangutana pa jud ta ug "pila ang last"..

but unfortunately, japanese man kaha tag-iya ato nga resort... so wala sa ilang culture nang "hangyo"... the japanese are known to be strict when in comes to rules and regulations, kung unsa nakasuwat, kinahanglan mao gyud ang sundon... so mao gyud siguro nga wala na consider inyo request.

sabta nalang mam nga nanrabaho ra pod to mga tao didto and they rather stick to the rules, than risk losing their source of livelihood.

    peace and God bless.
