Since this thread has become FOR Gordon. I just want to share his platform.

He has Five (5) Key Pillars in his platform;

1. Establishing Peace and Security
How:
1.1 Enforcing the authority of the State in the entire country
1.2 Ending the Communist insurgency and the Muslim secessionist rebellion through peace negotiations or by force of arms IF necessary
1.3 Disarming and disbanding of all private armies in the country.
1.4 Reorganization of the PNP and greater participation of the LGUs and communities in keeping peace
1.5 Waging a vigorous campaign against organized crime, the drug trade and illegal gambling.

2. Rooting Out Graft and Corruption
How:
2.1 Make the position of Ombudsman a nationally elected position.
2.2 Declog the Sandiganbayan in the prosecution of corruption cases.
2.3 Eliminate presidential pardon for government officials found guilty of graft.
2.4 Establish full transparency in executive projects, and include cabinet officials under judicial and congressional oversight.
2.5 Punish all those who offer bribes and corrupt members of the bureaucracy.

3. Reinventing Government for National Modernization
How:
3.1 Full performance audit of the entire government bureaucracy in order to determine what agencies must be retained, strengthened, or eliminated because of obsolescence.
3.2 Create clear roles and goals for each department to perform and meet in the modernization effort.
3.3 Establish meritocracy as the rule for advancement in the civil service.
3.4 Raise the standards for entry in the civil service.
3.5 Adopt best practices in government management and operations.
3.6 Eliminate wasteful spending in every agency of government.

4. Managing the Economy for Growth and Global Competition
How:
4.1 Energy sufficiency and efficiency by overhauling and strengthening the Department of Energy, setting clear targets for expansion of power generation capacity, setting targets for the replacement of oil imports with alternative clean energy sources, and setting standards for energy conservation and efficient energy utilization.
4.2 Food security and agricultural development through agricultural modernization.
4.3 Tourism development and jobs creation by properly implementing the Tourism Development Act, effective reorganization of the Tourism machinery, and effective management.
4.4 Infrastructure modernization and jobs creation through investing in modernization of the nation’s highways, transport systems, ports, airports, and communications with the help of the private sector. The private sector will be encouraged to supply for capital if needed.

5. Developing Human Resources
How:
Two things will be prioritized - Education and Health

On Education
5.1.1 Undertake a comprehensive review of educational priorities and reorganize the Department of Education
5.1.2 Add two years to basic education.
5.1.3 Meet the classroom shortage and reduce the average number of students to 50 per class within three years.
5.1.4 Increase the salaries of teachers to a minimum of P40,000 per month to attract top graduates to teaching.
5.1.5 Provide sturdy, electronic book reader to public school students to lower costs for books and give them IT knowhow.

On Health
5.2.1 Extend free public health services to cover all citizens, especially in the rural areas.
5.2.2 Increase the salaries of doctors and nurses in order to keep more of them in the country.
5.2.3 Establish compulsory healthcare savings account for all Filipinos.
5.2.4 Establish more Botika ng Barangay outlets nationwide.
5.2.5 Promote responsible parenthood.

I like his platform since it clear and realistic, and out of all the candidates, he can deliver.

the point of having the right to vote is to let our voices be heard... aron makabutar ta sa taw nga tan-aw nato angay mulead sa atong nasud... murag there's no such thing as a wasted vote if imong gibotaran mao jud imong ganahan nga candidate... ma-waste ra nuon imong vote if muvote ka sa taw nga tan-aw nimo mudaog maskin kahibaw ka nga di sya competent or angayan makadaog... but oh well.. para nako rasad na ha...lahi2x man tag opinion kay lahi2x man tag way of thinking...

Think critically. Analyze issues carefully. Do not support blindly. Vote wisely.

I don't think Gordon speculates. In all the interviews I have seen, I have not seen him speculate. Can you give an instance where he did speculate?

I can't blame you if you think wala sya batasan but for me he is just honest; perhaps too honest for many Filipinos but so far he is the only one ho has guts and he is giving us exactly what we need (even if many are hurt by his ways). Again, he is giving us what we NEED, not want.

By the way, he is part of the Bagumbayan Party so he is not just one band.
